  • Reviews should be much higher! Solid 4.8
Great quality. Does exactly what it says. Very fun, easy to use. Ridiculously easy to set up and take down -- few seconds. Very lightweight. Net folds with robot, stays attached. Low reviews are being compared to $2000 robots. Robot is for beginner to mid-high level player. Absolute game changer for teaching first time players and improving mid level players! Bought for church youth, they are all learning & improving very very quickly with this. --Only real legit complaint I have seen in reviews....and I agree... ball frequency is too high on lowest setting. (This should be simple solution for manufacturer to fix. I solved by taping off one of the 3 plastic scoops that load balls). I'm trying to buy replacement ball loading fan so I can permanently modify, then change out as needed for speed changes. ... show more

  • This machine is a blast!
I purchased this 3 months ago and love it! I'm a decent ping pong player (won my college intramural tournament). It is a great practice aid for any type of shot you want to hit. In addition it's a fun great way to get exercise. You can set oscillation (side to side), how fast the sequence is and how hard it shoots the ball at you. You can set the machine for a beginner all the way to someone way better than me. I read a couple of posts where the person said it barely shoots the ball over the net. It's only because they didn't know how to adjust the settings as you make this machine do anything. It's a blast!!! ... show more

  • Great value. Wish minimum oscillation and ball frequency was slower.
It's an amazing value for the price point. The ball recycling works great. With enough balls, you can pretty much go indefinitely without having to stop and pick up the balls. The durability has been really good so far too. I try to keep my garage floor really clean of dust and dirt, but the balls do get grit after repeatedly falling on the floor and rolling into the corners. I generally dump the balls straight back in without cleaning them (cleaning them every time would be really cumbersome), and after about 40 hours of play the machine has not shown any sign of dysfunction from the grit. My big complaint that keeps the machine from 5 stars is that the lowest setting for oscillation and frequency (a value of 1 out of 10), is quite fast. I feel the pace of 1 should be around 4, and 1 should be really slow in case you want to very carefully work on form, or maybe a slower pace for footwork. The oscillation is quite wide, which exacerbates the issue of the pace being too fast. At a frequency of 1 and oscillation of 1, the result is a wide forehand, followed by a backhand, then a wide backhand. I am reasonably fit (for reference, I run a 7 minute mile at the moment), and I cannot keep the pace of setting oscillation 1 and frequency 1 for very long before my form starts to break down. I want to be able to practice setting my feet before my stroke, so I would love some gentle oscillation. Either a narrower oscillation, or a slower oscillation (so there is less ground to cover between balls) would solve this problem. I hate that I basically have to cover the entire table side to side between balls. It seems a shame to me that setting 1 is so fast. Because 10 is higher than I think any human would ever want. ... show more

  • Great Robot for Solo Practice, Even with Conversion (pool table topper) Tables
The media could not be loaded. See the video above for an example of the robot in action for solo practice (oscillation set to 1, ball frequency set to 1, topspin at 3 and backspin at 2). Although it does take a bit of adjusting to get it the way you want the balls to hit the table (spins, speed, frequency, location), this machine works great for solo practice and working on various shots. Once it is set and adjusted, which takes a combination of manually adjusting the head up or down, and varying the topspin/backspin value, it can provide virtually unlimited practice because of the capture net and constant cycling of the balls. The manufacturer is very helpful with any issues that arise, but so far, this machine has worked great for me. The review titled “Very Disappointing” needs to either adjust the topspin/backspin numbers, or adjust the head higher. At a topspin of 1 and backspin of 0, the wheels don’t spin fast enough. I’ve found 3/2 to be the slowest, or 2/1 if you adjust the head much higher than that video shows. As for clearance on a conversion table topper, note that you will need about 6.5 inches of space between the ping pong table and the pool table it sits on to accommodate the robot. It works fine on my 8-foot pool table, although it’s slightly off-center so there is more clearance on the robot side than the side I’m standing on. Overall, I feel this is a great value for the price and highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Great practice machine at a good price.
Got this on Black Friday deal. It’s a great robot for practicing at home for intermediate to advanced level players. Initially followed their installation instruction and can’t find the spot for power connection. Have to look around and find the connection to be on the controller!!!

  • Not recommended - Barely worked in the first couple of months but stopped working after 3 months
Purchased in February 2024, used for a little more than a month, then stopped using it because of a shoulder problem. When I used it in the first month, there was some good feeling for basic function. At level 1 oscillation, it worked poorly, but when increased to level 10, it worked better. I also tried other functions; they worked, but I didn't think they were good enough. In short, this robot is not reliable and is not really designed for non-professional exercise users (senior users). After three months, once my shoulder pain was relieved, I tried to use it to exercise again, but I found it did not work as it did in the first month. The balls are no longer thrown to the other side of the table. I have a video and will upload it later. I am an engineer working in the product development group for my company. I can tell this product has a nice design concept but has not been tested enough to meet the quality criteria before it was released to the market. This is typical for many products made in the same country, in my personal experience, because it seems that the investors always rush to get returns from the market without giving enough rounds of tests and reviews. ... show more
