Got a functional watch for less than $100. Described as "slightly damaged" which was true, but slightly was accurate (small scratch on watch). This was worth the gamble as it had free returns. Not as big as like a running watch to be/feel, but for the price, no complaints.

Don’t care much about app. Cared deeply about thickness and breath ability of band. It’s excellent . Bought because I never texted back or talked on my Apple Watch, always just got the notification and checked my phone. This is a more athletic look. I don’t track calories or steps just us it for tracking workouts. And timer for workouts. I wish I could find how to turn it off!!! Settings allow you to set do not disturb times which helps.     • This is the second time it has broken in six months
I like the watch, I just want it to work. You need to have your phone with you for the GPS to work properly and I mostly got it for swimming and it isn't precise on my laps or stroke. It has been really helpful to track my sleep and fitness. It is comfortable and I think it looks good and I have been happy with it as a general tool to track my activity. The first time it broke the screen froze and wouldn't do anything. I had to sent it to the company and after a month they sent me a new one. Now, 2.5 months into the new watch, the battery won't hold a charge. Right now I'm annoyed that I'm going to have to spend hours dealing with this and likely not have a watch for the next month or so. I wish I had just gotten a different watch. Now for an update. Suunto had the watch for 2 months and returned it stating that it is not broken and didn't fix it so I have been wearing it even though it only holds a charge for a day or two. But today I got back to the pool and an hour later it broke again. Totally fritzed out. ... show more

1. Too complicated and illogical interface 2. update requires to install software on aphone and on a computer 3. No agents available to help you with troubleshooting when you need them. Anyway, I correct my rating as I found out that to recover the original watch face on Suunto 3 you need to 1. Select the last watch face from the menu 2. I have had this watch since July 2020, and its been a horrible experience, the charger hook up broke from almost the beginning, customer service was quite horrible, new cable had same issues about the same time as the first one, Every time I hook watch to computer for updates I have to delete everything from my phone and computer otherwise it won't work, to include connecting to my phone. I shouldn't have to delete and reinstall software just to use this watch. Suunto has always been a top name but not so sure anymore. I would 2nd guess buying a product again from them specially if all I am paying for is the name. ... show more
