  • Sturdy, but has some design issues
The main problem with this case is that my Apple pencil can't be charged without removing the case entirely. This is partly the fault of Apple for designing the pencil to only be chargeable by sticking it to the side of the iPad. However, I'd assume there could be other design options that would allow this charging capability without sacrificing the integrity of the case. As it is, I have to periodically remove the iPad from the case (a process that inevitably leads to dust getting under the screen protector) to charge my pencil. While the case is easy to remove and reassemble, it does seem to provide excellent protection from the elements. I work outside and so far the case has successfully protected from dust, debris, occasional drops to the forest floor, and light rain. The iPad does seem to have trouble staying exactly in its spot in the case and sometimes the volume buttons get accidentally held down for no discernible reason. In general, a very sturdy case, but I don't recommend it if you use an Apple pencil. ... show more

  • I love everything, but the strap.
I like it. I’ve bought this brand before and never had an issue. I found the strap comfortable and usefulIy; however, I found the kickstand in their earlier versions more useful. This is the only brand that I can find that has the durability I want, but I can’t give it five stars because of the missing kickstand. I did see the pictures before buying, and all of that. However, this is the best product up to the point of the missing strap. January 1, 2022 Update: the strap came in handy. It actually made keeping the device easier in my hand. Too bad it doesn’t have the strap with an added on kick stand. However, I think it’s an overall good buy. The iPad has been dropped, mishandled and keeps going. ... show more

  • Durable case
The handle grip on the back fell off

  • Camera is half covered by case.
I submitted a question asking if the camera was covered and no one responded. This cover even cover part of the camera for older iPads. It’s a durable case but has issues with the power button and camera alignment. When power button is held down to reboot, the rubber often slips off of the button and stops the reboot or hard reboot. ... show more

  • It protects the screen from things scratching it
I like the new clip handle on the survivor case. But I miss the pop out stand that is part of the old survivor case design. You could set it on a table like a picture frame you didn’t have to hold it or look for something to prop it up to watch movies

  • Do not get it. It is a scam.

  • Don’t waste your $$$
Expensive case but I wouldn’t buy it again it’s so hard to put on and is always coming off easily plus dirt and things get between the screen protector and make the iPad act weird not worth the $$$ IMO I’d get like a leather case direct from Apple
