This surround sound system works great for my needs. I had an old system that was purchased at Radio Shack if that give you an indication of how old that was! LOL The old systems center speaker went out and I was finding it hard to hear the voices in shows, movies etc. So I decided to take a look and found this Bobtot system. I'm using this in my craft studio space. I like to watch / listen to movies and music while I create and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a system at this time. I really like that the subwoofer is also the controller and I don't have to have a remote always handy to control the volume. Setup is not great, no markings for which speaker is which, no swappable cords. Poor sound quality and volume. Very poor construction and will start to go out very quickly. Might get a year of poor quality sound out of these if you are lucky

Worked okay at first, even if it took me a while to figure out how to hook it up, and make it work. But suddenly, it affected my smart tv to the point of no sound, and the picture kept shutting down. I unplugged and disconnected the device to see if it was my tv that had become defective. Tv worked fine without the device. ... show more

I recently purchased the Surround Sound Systems 5.1 Home Theater System, and I must say, my experience has been far from satisfactory. While it boasts a range of features like HDMI ARC, optical input, Bluetooth connectivity, and compatibility with 4K TVs, the reality is that it falls short in several key areas. First off, let’s talk about the sound quality. The system promises immersive surround sound, but I found it to be underwhelming at best. The subwoofer lacks the punch you would expect from a home theater setup; instead of thumping bass, I got a muddy sound that barely filled the room. One minor gripe: The optical input only works if you use the TV speakers as well.

    • Over all mess to set up
The Speakers are not even marked of what to put in the front and back and center. All I could do was measure the length of the cord on the speaker. The volume supposed to go all the way to 60 and you can barley hear it at level 30. I tried to contact the person of the phone number they provided me and I tried to call it and they never answered and they texted me and asked if I needed help and then I called and they never answered again and never returned my text messages after I texted them if they even going to help me. The product value is probably $60.00 and I probably would not even spend that much for this product. ... show more
