After I set this up with my TV, there was NO sound. I checked everything, then I turned the volume all the way up on the Surround Sound speakers, and finally there was sound. But very LOW. It turns out that the Speakers are supposed to work in unison with the TV, which it didn't. I had to turn the volume on my TV up to 80 or 90/100 to get the sound louder. But the worst thing is the quality of the sound: it has a very tinnish sound. The quality of people's voices on TV was very poor, but any noise like an explosion in a movie is super LOUD.     • Awesome sound for a low price
This surround sound system works great for my needs. I had an old system that was purchased at Radio Shack if that give you an indication of how old that was! LOL The old systems center speaker went out and I was finding it hard to hear the voices in shows, movies etc. So I decided to take a look and found this Bobtot system. I'm using this in my craft studio space. I like to watch / listen to movies and music while I create and didn't want to spend a lot of money on a system at this time. I really like that the subwoofer is also the controller and I don't have to have a remote always handy to control the volume. Another great feature is if I want to listen to music from my phone I can change the input to bluetooth and steam from my phone into the speakers. Very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I recently purchased the Surround Sound Systems 5.1 Home Theater System, and I must say, my experience has been far from satisfactory. While it boasts a range of features like HDMI ARC, optical input, Bluetooth connectivity, and compatibility with 4K TVs, the reality is that it falls short in several key areas. First off, let’s talk about the sound quality. The system promises immersive surround sound, but I found it to be underwhelming at best. The subwoofer lacks the punch you would expect from a home theater setup; instead of thumping bass, I got a muddy sound that barely filled the room. Even with adjustments to the settings, it felt like I was listening to a mediocre stereo system rather than a high-quality surround sound experience. The design of the speakers is also disappointing. They look cheap and plasticky, which doesn’t inspire confidence in their durability or performance. Setting them up was a hassle too—despite having multiple input options, I encountered numerous issues trying to get everything connected properly.     • Bad sound, low quality construction
Setup is not great, no markings for which speaker is which, no swappable cords. Poor sound quality and volume. Very poor construction and will start to go out very quickly. Might get a year of poor quality sound out of these if you are lucky
