It does its job admirably. It scrubs my back exactly like it should. The handle is slightly textured so it's easy to grip even when wet. I like that the bristles are a little more concentrated rather than being spread out over a larger area. The bristles are stiff enough for a good scrub but soft enough that they don't tear up your skin. All in all, an excellent back scrubber. I have tried so many versions of a back scrubber: loofa, sponge, and brush. The brushes were always too harsh, and the others did not last long. I used this for the first time today, and it is the best so far. I love the brush shape. And the softness of the bristles is perfect. A Goldilocks "not too stiff, not too soft". This brush is really great for a good back scrub. Bristles are NOT super soft so you won’t have to scrub hard. Only thing that could be improved is the hole at the end of the handle - either make it larger to actually fit on a hook or include a cord to loop through it. I was looking for another brush with a long handle. This one is good. The only thing I didn't think about was the size of the brush. The one I was using the brush was probably 3 times bigger. But this one does work fine.

I wish I had bought it sooner. Light weight, but solid. The bristles are perfectly balanced between firm and soft. The bristles are still firm enough that soap lather does not take away it's scrubbing ability. The only thing I would change would be to add a rope at the end of the handle to make it easier to hang, it already has a hole for it. ... show more

This is a pretty good brush for the hard to reach areas. I was skeptical because it looked small, but it turned out to work well. The brush itself has dense nylon bristles that holds body wash and foams well. The bristles are of medium hardness that do not collapse when wet. You’re actually brushing with the bristle tips and not the sides of the bristles. You will get a vigorous scrub without feeling scraped apart. The handle is plastic and somewhat grained for a non slip grip as long as you don’t have overly soapy hands when using it. ... show more

The handle and head are made of a good, solid piece of molded plastic. The finish is matte so the grip is OK but some texture along the handle would make it easier to hold when wet or soapy. The bristles are synthetic and can feel sharp or scratchy. If you are used to a loofa or washcloth this brush may be too stiff for you. If you like getting a back scratch from someone who just clipped their nails, you'll love this brush. I've used a loofa on a stick for years and this is quite a change. I might swap it out for a natural bristle, but those are more expensive, and I'd guess will be more prone to mold and mildew. ... show more

We didn't want: scrubber that needed to be 'babied' - A+ here. This scrubber doesn't have wooden handle; we'll be able to leave it in the shower area; it'll be washable; and mold won't be a problem. We didn't want: scrubber with bristles that hurt - another A+. The bristles are densely-arranged (no stragglers) and the materials used are firm but not scratchy on the skin. We didn't want: scrubber that couldn't be hung on shower hook at all or that needed a twine/string loop - A+ again. The integrated hole in the handle is perfect. We didn't want: scrubber that couldn't actually scrub the back of our torsos - B+ on this factor. This scrubber is longer than most, but it would be better if 2 inches longer. ... show more
