I have been reading about dry brushing and wondering what the difference was between dry brushing and exfoliating (in the shower). I found that exfoliating wet skin is more abrasive and when I thought about it, I actually realized that I've been doing it for years and still have dry skin and get ingrown hairs. I got this dry brush and used it on my upper arms before getting in the shower. My upper arms are always dry and peely, even when I put lotion on after a shower. After ONE use of this brush, no more peely dry skin on my arms. The strap to place your hand in is useful for most, but I prefer to hold the brush in my palm. It does feel a bit weird and rough on the skin at first, but you get used to it. I think I am so used to using a wet exfoliating cloth that the feeling of dry bristles on my skin felt kind of rough, but if you use it gently, I think it's really just a mental thing. I read online and from other reviewers to brush towards your heart wherever you are using it on your body. It's supposed to help with lymphatic drainage too. I like that this is gentle enough to use everyday and still effective if you use just a couple times a week. Use it with an in-shower oil and you'll be so soft and smooth! if you're thinking too hard about it, just get the brush. It's worth the time! ... show more

Very efficient, worked well and made my skin smoother after one use. The bristles were flexible but also sturdy and the overall product is exactly as advertised. My package arrived within the same day of ordering it and although the package was clearly damaged the product itself was not damaged. This brush is quite easy to use and I can definitely feel a change after one use as I bought it to help me certain swollen areas in my lymphatic system. The strap on the back of the brush fits on my hand perfectly for a great ease of hold. I’ve had no trouble with bristles falling out, however I will say it is quite rough upon arrival so I would definitely try soaking the bristles or if you prefer a brush with softer bristles to go for a brand that has softer bristles especially if your skin is fragile! ... show more

We love this brush. It would be too rough for a baby's skin, but oh how wonderful it feels on your arms and legs. My boyfriend does road construction and a wash cloth just does not cut it sometimes. I have only had mine for a short while, but the bristles feel sturdy and they are not all flat like some others, so they really clean well. I use does bar soap and it holds the soap for a long time. You really feel it exfoliate your skin and is amazing for my circulation! 10 out of 10 for this one and I am super picky.
