I love these exfoliating gloves and how rough they are when I use them. I do prefer my gloves to feel rougher because it makes me feel like it’s scrubbing everything off.

I honestly cannot believe how well these worked! I have very finicky skin that will sometimes get flaky after showering. Not pretty. I've tried all kinds of different moisturizing soaps, but apparently all I needed were a good pair of exfoliating gloves! I noticed a big change after just the first use, my skin felt much softer and I barely had any issues with flakes. I scrubbed myself pretty roughly but they were surprisingly comfortable and my skin didn't feel raw afterwards. I will say though that these might not work if you have larger hands. The band around the wrists was so small that I had a bit of trouble getting them on, and I have tiny child-sized hands. ... show more

    • My gloves are a year old, and still work as well as when they were new
I'm not sure why so many people lately are having such bad luck with these gloves. I bought mine over a year ago, and they're still working perfectly. These gloves are the perfect antidote to rough skin. They make taking a shower so incredibly easy - just soap up and scrub. I use one pair per shower, then toss them in a lingerie bag to wash when I get enough of them together. So with all that use, including being washed, they are holding up like champions. My skin has never looked so good with all this exfoliation. The other thing I love about these gloves is that the amount of exfoliation is just right. Not too soft so they do nothing, and not so rough that it feels like I'm using sandpaper on my skin. I don't know if this company is suddenly having a quality control problem (hence all the recent negative reviews), but I'd definitely recommend gloves of this type if you want your skin to look fantastic (perhaps scroll around to find a company where people are more happy with the product.) I can say that with over a year of use, my sets of exfoliating gloves have absolutely no issues, and work just as well as they did when I first used them. ... show more

UPDATE 6 23 15: These may fit the bill for someone with moderate to long nails. I keep mine short so there's too much room in the glove for me. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am not a petite woman and my hands are at least average, possibly a tad larger (to start with, I am top heavy and stand at almost 5' 10"). I did not like these because they slide around on your hand and should be smaller for a woman's use. I don't think the men will be showering with pink and purple gloves! I ordered them because the price point on 4 pairs was better than what I previously ordered. They do the job but the sliding around is annoying. Instead, I recommend the gloves at the link below. They are smaller and therefore didn't slide around on my hands and I still use them to give my toddler baths. I ordered them July, 2013 and loved them so much I decided to get me some but went with the lower price point above...WRONG MOVE. These are the most for the money that I have found. They are great for exfoliating. Not thin either like others I have tried. And I like that they come in sets. I only gave one star for softness because they are not soft they are for exfoliation. If looking for simple way to exfoliate these are perfect for that.
