This pillow is made up of some kind of foam that is soft yet the water drips out of it easily. I really like that (so mold doesnt grow) feature so I kept it even though the suction cups were deformed and wouldnt stick to my straight backed iron tub. For those of you with the old pre 70s tubs that are enameled iron... I used magnets with hooks on them to hold the pillow in place. (Put an extra strong/long rubberband around the pillow and strung that along the magnets). A little bit klugy (spelling??) but it works if you have an iron tub. ... show more

I love this pillow. I'm a huge bath lady, it's my time to relax when my kids go to bed. I never had a pillow before and would always lay in weird positions for my neck. Since this pillow came, I can stay in the bath longer and it supports my neck and back. Im petite so the pillow basically covers my entire back which was a nice surprise. I have a tub where the back doesn’t slant. The top part of this doesn’t allow for comfort in the older made tubs.The attachment to hang the mt up, cuts into the top of your head when laying on it. The material is like sitting on a piece of sand paper. There are numerous suction cups positioned around the underside edge. When laying on this cushion, you can feel the hard suction cups on your back and buttocks. After a couple of uses, the mat had a musty odor. Rinsing it out really didn’t help. I had to wash it often, and use fabric softener to minimize the scent. I liked the fact that it covered the bottom of the tub. Though material was scratchy, it was a lot softer than the tub bottom. The suction cups did a good job sticking to the bottom. So the idea was great, but I really find this isn’t as comfortable as I thought. ... show more

I work too much and don't sleep enough. If not for this pillow I would've drowned. A hot bath is the most relaxing thing in the world and if you've never had a pillow before, you don't even know how incomplete your experience has been. This pillow is great but the review specifically asked how good the suction was. Too good is the answer. You need to use your finger nail to individually seperate the suction cups from the tub or it will not come off when its time to hang it up to dry.
