Great pair of boots! I'm a Carpenter by trade and outdoorsman so I use the heck out of my boots. I used to buy Thorogood or redwing boots and these are right up there with them as far as comfort abd wearability. The first day they were a little stiff but broke in very nicely after that. The company sends an extra set of insoles which I'll use when the factory ones get a bit worn but boots are very cushioned. I wish these were completely made in america like their other boots but that's the only somewhat negative thing I can say. I'll see how their durability is, I'm hoping they last as long or close to as my other boots, if so..... these are my boots from now on! ... show more

These boots are extremely good quality and affordable. They are very comfortable, good stitching, good leather, clean and sharp enough for going to work then to Church. Would definitely recommend and would purchase again.

Hard to get them broken in but once you do you can go all day. I climb a lot of ladders, and walk on a lot of steel grating and steel working surfaces ( I work on overhead cranes) as well as concrete. No sweat with these. Feet and legs don’t hurt even after a 14 hr day. If I had one negative thing to say is they are extremely heavy. I think next time I will shoot for composite toe to cut down on the weight. My work requires steel toes and as I was looking through Amazon I came across these shoes and at first I was optimistic on weather they be comfortable to wear or not. After paying a good price for the boots and spending three weeks in them I must say they are the most comfortable thing to wear. I’ve broken the boots in and have not notice any discomfort at all. I have always worn wolverine boots, primarily for the arch support and protecting my toes in the construction sites I find myself in. Through heavy usage I can expect a pair of wolverines to last me about six months. And I am accustomed paying $150 or more for another pair. Then I saw the advertisement for these boots, and decided to give them a try. And I’m telling you right now, I’m happy I did! They are very very well constructed, extremely comfortable, they come with an extra pair of insoles, and I’ve used them now four months and I would say they’re holding up better than my more expensive wolverines. Ordered a men’s 8.5 and when they arrived they looked like they were maybe a 10 or bigger and when they were on my husbands feet they looked like Frankenstein shoes. Disappointed because they were a birthday present. Maybe if they didn’t look so gigantic they wouldn’t have been so bad but everything about them was big. They looked cartoon like. Bought the black pair 7 months ago . I have always worn logger style boots (30 yrs in the sprinkler trade). Decided to try moc toe for the first time in my life (the white soles have always thrown me off). When I saw these black models I said what the hell they're half the price of the boots I usually buy . The boots are about !/2 a size large but the inserts they send do mitigate this some . The quality/workmanship on the pair I received was very good , not great but surprisingly good for price . I'll say this now though if all moc toes are as comfortable as these are I have been foolishly missing out for more years than I care to think about . These have to be the most comfortable boots I have ever worn . The black version only come with steel toes and are a heavier boot , but for me this only reinforces the sturdy feel of the boot . You would have to be some soy slurping office puke with calves the size of a ten year old boy to think they are too heavy . I am truly pleased with this purchase and I have already bought a second pair to wear as a non work pair . I will possibly give a later update as to their durability, the sprinkler trade is truly rough on the uppers of boots . There are sprinklermen all over the place with steel sticking out of the front of their boots . It is usually not possible for a pair of boots to last more than two years . As stated I not only would but already have purchased these again . If the quality remains the same they will become my go to . ... show more
