  • My new favorite
Size: 9 Wide Color: Tobacco Oil-tanned
Love this Boots! The leather is supple straight out of the box. Very comfortable. I like the style and the quality. I'm sure with proper care these will last me a long time. The added bonus is that they are made in America! Great boot from a very good brand.

  • Great with proper leather maintenance
Size: 12 Color: Black (Midnight Series)
Very comfortable boot from the box, I was surprised. Insole is very good. I do wish I could have got the 8" tops with the classic boot sole rather than the wedge, but the wedge has been great on oily or soapy floors in the shop. Not so great for snow and ice, but to be expected. The threading and strip of leather around the moc toe get compacted if you kneel on the outer part of the toe, but also to be expected. I've cleaned and conditioned these boots 4 times in 2 months, bi-weekly to keep the road salts and motor oils from being an issue. They clean up great. Taken my 10 hour days, stopped a lift from being put down on my toes and feel great on my feet through it all. I'm planning on getting another pair and seeing about having a normal sole put on them ... show more

  • Excellent boots but make sure the tread suits the job
Size: 11 Wide Color: Black (Midnight Series)
Perfect boot for me. The tread is not aggressive enough for some and that may be an issue if you’re doing line work with a lot of woods etc. I dont like or need a heel and the minimal heal drop is very comfortable for me. I bought two pair and the QC is spot on for both.

  • Great Boot
Size: 10.5 Color: Trail Crazyhorse
I am a Union Carpenter in NYC. I'm a high-rise concrete carpenter, so I form out all the walls, deck etc. The job site is brutal, Steel rebar everywhere, Dried concrete, and we do LOTS of climbing. I've tried many boots. on average we get about 8-10 months out of a pair of boots and that could vary on weather. These boots definitely meet the comfort standard. Had them since November and they are still very comfortable to put on. In rain they keep my feet dry for the most part, but we work in like waterfalls, so my feet have gotten wet in these, but it was after walking around in 6-Inch-deep puddles. One thing that stands out to me so far is the quality of the leather. Like i said we climb a lot of rebar columns, and that tie wire can do damage to leather boots. Every pair of boots I've had the leather always rips and holes start to appear. Not these, the leather has some deep gouges in it, but it's all still together and has no holes. They are on the pricey side, but I'd say they are worth it. If your tight on money there's definitely some other options out there for cheaper but if you have the money to spend on these boots, I will go with these. ... show more

  • Love these
Size: 7.5 Wide Color: Tobacco Oil-tanned
I don't know how many times I don't purchase these shoes, but the durability is amazing art support. My husband has his own arches. Size seems to fit very nicely. The look is very beautiful, and it's very easy to use and slip on

  • Comfortable out of the box and good boots
Size: 10 Color: Black (Midnight Series)
I waited to write a review on my pair to see how the boots would feel and hold up after some wear and tear, I had bought them about 4 months ago as of writing this review. My work isn't the most physically demanding nor am I working out in the elements but I primarily service and work on various drink machines so I tend to deal with alot of syrup and water. The boots are not water proof but if they are properly conditioned the should not get sopping wet in a light rain or wet enviroment. The tongue of the boot is tumbled to increase comfort and reduce break in which took me about a week where was no discomfort. The leather is full grain though something i noted was the first day of use where the leather is puckered for the moc toe stitch tends to shave off when crouching. This also occurred to one of the tips of my boot which was a bit disappointing to see but I chalked it up to the boots not being conditioned enough. Overall for my line of work the boots are comfortable enough out of the box that I could wear it all day without having to switch to another pair of boots and if you are working on hard flooring like concrete the wedge sole and the insole give you enough cushioning that you won't have an issue with walking on hard ground all day. I haven't had any issues with walking on wet tiles or concrete. The safety toe did not give me any issues and there is more then enough space between the top of the steel toe and my feet to prevent toe rub. The most uncomfortable place to break in for me was the heel but that went away within the week of first wear. I wear a 10D or 10 reg in all my boots and the same in my thorogoods. To be specific the circumference of the ball of my foot is 10" and the length from the back of my heel to the longest toe is 11". My advice is to make sure that once you try your boots on and they fit well condition them to make the break in even easier and the protect the leather since you don't know how long they have sat in a warehouse. I would also suggest getting a better pair of laces with your boots because mine were flimsy and I immediately changed them out with some paracord. ... show more

  • Killing my Foot
Size: 10 Wide Color: Tobacco Oil-tanned
I am a ironworker and I have been wearing Thorogood boots for many years. The most comfortable boot that I have found... Until this pair.. They fit like normal, snug like always buy loosen to a nice fit after wearing them for a brief period. This pair..... Left boot fits great but the right one kills my toe. Thought it was because they have not been broken in, but after 2 weeks, still kills my toe.. so I put the soles together trying to see if one was smaller than the other.... The right boot is 1/4" smaller than the left... can't really wear them, so I guess that I bought a 300.00 Thorogood paper weight ... show more

  • Soul is cracking after less than a month of wear
Size: 11 Color: Trail Crazyhorse
I’ve had these boots for less than a month and the soul is cracking. I barely wear them. They’re very nice, so I only wear them out places not for work you can see the picture where it’s just cracked for no reason I noticed it when I was cleaning them it looks like the company that sold them requires you to have a username and login to communicate with them or call a number that nobody picks up I would recommend buying boots from this company anymore and it’s a shame because if I bought these from any other store, they would immediately just exchange them. ... show more
