  • Works FANTASTIC
Team Name: XL (Neck: 20"--23'' Weight: around 9... Color: Metallic
My 1st review on Amazon ever, but had to say something: We have a Giant Schnauzer Pup, just turned one. That said he is already over 90 lbs & always excited to go for a walk! Been a bad Pappa & his walking training has suffered. Nobody can walk him save me, but even that was a chore. Got this & WOW 🤩 IMMEDIATE results. I’d say dropped his pulling on leash by 90%. My 7 year old can walk him now. ALSO, to adjust was EASY. I’m not sure what the problem was with these other folks, but you can take them off just using your fingers. To put them back in you will need some pliers, but it’s very easy. Again, fantastic results, easy to adjust, seems durable enough (I’ve had for about 1 month to be fair) Highly suggest getting if you have a big dog that pulls on the lead. I will still work on his training, but in meantime this is awesome. ... show more

  • Works well!
Team Name: M (Neck: 16"--18'' Weight: around 50... Color: Black
Got this prong collar after being pulled down the street by my 5 month old lab mix puppy who is strong as she can nearly pull me over already! Those walks were not fun! Got the medium size collar and removed a couple prongs. Fits her perfectly! She is 35 lbs & growing! Used the rubber tips but quickly removed them, not needed. The prongs are very well made, not too sharp. Have had several walks around the neighborhood all with NO pulling. Success! Happy owner and happy pup! ... show more

  • Measure your dog!
Team Name: S (Neck: 14"--16'' Weight: around 35... Color: Metallic
I literally just got this collar and have only used it once, but I do have a few things to say. 1. Measure your dogs neck!! My dog is 60 Ibs, which if I went with the recommended size, she would be a medium. But I measured her neck, which was 15inches, so I went with the small and that fits perfect! Definitely measure!! 2. Putting on the extra prongs and taking them off is really easy. I like that this because you want it to be snug enough to work! 3. The buckle is nice because it’s easier to put on and take off. My old one used to be a hassle to put on (no buckle), especially when older folks tried to use it 4. It’s not a true “choke” collar because it doesn’t get tighter when pulled (due to the buckle). But if your dog doesn’t pull really hard and just needs the reminder not to pull (prongs) this is great for them! ... show more

  • Improves pulling
Team Name: M (Neck: 16"--18'' Weight: around 50... Color: Metallic
Well, after months of resisting using one of these, we were required to purchase one when my son showed our 1 year old puppy at the local obedience show in the county fair. She was pulling like crazy, and the trainer finally said we needed to start using a prong collar or wouldn't be able to participate. However, when this is on, she doesn't pull and pant as she does pulling with a regular collar. The soft tips on the prongs seem to warn her to not pull so hard. She's never shown any discomfort or yelped. In fact, when I took her to our vet with a regular collar, everyone in that office told me next time to bring her in a prong collar because of the way she chokes herself in the regular collar. Anyways, despite my resistance and apparent lack of expertise, I feel this collar does keep her from choking herself and is easy to take on/off. I just like a traditional collar for a dog so is something I've needed to understand better. ... show more

  • Great training tool
Team Name: XL (Neck: 20"--23'' Weight: around 9... Color: Metallic
A must have for large, difficult dogs. Good size and weight, restrains and corrects aberrant behavior without damage. The buckle attachment is quick, safe and secure. Attaching the other types of prong collars are like solving a puzzle, and I hate puzzles.

  • Rubber tipped prong collar
Team Name: M (Neck: 16"--18'' Weight: around 50... Color: Metallic
Never thought we'd use a prong collar. We have a rescued Aussie that was just 1.5 yrs old when we got him from the shelter. He was unloved and never disciplined. We took him through training and our trainer suggested we try a prong collar under their supervision. The idea is to use a quick wrist flick to get your dogs attention. It is not to be used to choke or strangle your dog. It has worked so well! Our Aussie knows when the collar goes on, he's going for a walk. It's been a win-win situation. ... show more

  • I don't love it
Team Name: S (Neck: 14"--16'' Weight: around 35... Color: Rainbow
Pros: - It works - Cute Colors Cons: - It's small - Hard to properly adjust the size - It feels kinda cheap (which it literally is, so there's that) My dog is between 30 and 35 lbs with a 13-inch neck size (w/o adding the extra 2 inches). I ordered a size Small - which is what is recommend. Right out of the package this product felt cheap, and my first impression wasn't great. The widest part of the prongs measures under an inch (.75 of an inch to be precise) and the fabric clocks in at half an inch. To me it feels too small, but it works I guess. The collar is supposed to sit high on the dog's neck, but the only way you can adjust this is to add or remove links. For me, that means it is either too tight or a little too big and slides down my dog's neck. It would be nice if there was a place to adjust on the fabric near the buckle. The color is cute, I'll give it that, but overall, I really don't love this. I ended up ordering a higher quality one and will keep this as a backup (since I'm past the return window). Would I return it if I could? yeah. Do I regret buying it? Kind of. Would I buy it again? Probably not. If I did buy it again, I'd get a Medium for my 35 lb dog. Overall, it's meh ... show more

  • Easy to adjust, really stops pet dead in their tracks.
Team Name: S (Neck: 14"--16'' Weight: around 35... Color: Metallic
My puppy has a bad habit of charging toward other dogs. The way this collar is designed, if my pet darts away, the rubber coated prongs do a good job of stopping my puppy in his tracks.
