Installed on a 2016 Tiffin 36LA. All but eliminated sway from passing trucks. Noticeable not only to driver but the primary passenger as well. Great product. Installed it myself.

    • Some installation tip you might want to know
The trac bar seems to stiffen up the rear tail wag and help the sturdiness of the overall ride on the coach. There are a couple things you might want to know about the installation. You might need to make sure that you have an impact gun that is strong enough to break these bolts free. Most of these bolts have blue loctite on them already. My air impact gun was unable to break these kind of bolt's free. I had to use my dwelt 20 Volt impact gun. In addition you might want to tighten up the trac bar to the brackets on both ends prior to locking down the bracket on the frame. This way that bracket will be in the proper place, not offset from where it really needs to be. Make sure to use plenty of loctite on all bolts. In addition, snug up the pinch plate to the frame, firmly snug up the frame bracket, then go back and tighten the pinch plate to the frame, then completely tighten the frame bracket to pinch plate. The concept is to rotate tightening the bolts, otherwise the pinch plate may not press firmly on the frame. Lastly check that the track bar is able to move up-and-down freely without hitting the mounting plate on the axle. Use can use something flat like a ruler to press onto the bracket on the axle allowing it to stick up between the bracket and track bar. These tips would have shortened my installation time. Be careful not to over torque. I stripped the threads on the pinch plate trying to figure out how to properly align the trac bar. Overall a great purchase. ... show more

I don't leave reviews much but I want to let my fellow RV'ers know that this track bar performed just like I hoped it would. I have a 2017 37' motorhome and I experienced almost no wig-wag on the test drive. This bar is the only thing I have installed so far.

First - I LUV this track bar - It was easy to install and it performs like a million bucks - First trip out, I took it on some winding 2 lane roads and it felt so secure I couldn't believe the improvement Second, and most important - The manufacturer called me after I had purchased this item to make sure I had ordered the right model - As it turns out, I went home and checked the GVWR on my rig and I had ordered the wrong model - I was just planning on trying to see if it would fit, and if it didn't I would send it back - The person from SuperSteer changed the order to the correct model FREE OF CHARGE and I had the item in 2 days Installed on 2004 Fleetwood Southwind 37A - 22,000 GVWR - You want the SS401 for this GVWR ... show more

    • Exceptional product
This product is exceptional. Installation was relatively easy (instructions were accurate) and both times I called the company for help while installing it, I got a real live person without talking to a machine, and that person answered my question immediately—both calls were less than two minutes each. I did run to the auto store and purchased an electric impact wrench to remove the three bolts from the differential cover—couldn’t break them loose with the breaker bar given the angles and limited space of the undercarriage. But I got a new tool out of the deal so not too bad. The trac bar works as advertised and keeps the back end where it should be, and it’s much more stable going down the road.     • Excellent Improvement
Was exactly what I hoped it would be. Almost a perfect fit. I had to enlarge one hole on the rear end bracket to line up with the hole. Rest of installation went as explained in instructions. Total 3 hours install time. An impact wrench is a must for the rear end bolts and torque wrench. Quality and manufacturer was excellent with the exception of the one bolt hole that was enlarged. I own a 2011 winnebago Adventurer 37F on a F53 24,000 # chassis. Tremendous ride improvement. Noticed immediately taking curves and the ride is so stable.     • Not compatible with 2020 F53 chassis
This does not work with the 2020 Ford F53 chassis. Unfortunately I can't return it. I've heard great things about this product so please verify what year chassis first before purchasing. I'm told 2019 and older.
