    • So, so thankful to be able to wash in the comfort of my apartment!
The media could not be loaded. ***Warning: Long but fair review*** I live on the 3rd floor of a 100-year old building with no elevator. Laundry time meant trekking down 3 flights of stairs into the scary dark basement to use the two washers and dryers shared by 40 other units in the building. You can imagine how inconvenient this was. This little machine changed the laundry game for me! The main thing to be aware of is this is NOT like a traditional washer that you load up and come back to 45 mins later with your clothes all ready for the dryer. It is not as passive, you are more involved in the washing process than with a traditional washer. That said, the hoses that came with this are complete trash, I didn’t even bother with them. I suppose you could find replacements but i fill mine using a plastic bucket and this method works just fine for me, the drum has lines indicating the necessary water levels for your load size. I have the 21.6 lbs model and I’m able to wash 5 sets of scrubs with room to spare (i avoid overfilling to get the best wash) And it is soo satisfying to see just how clean my clothes get when the water pumps out. I do two wash cycles per load to get all the suds out. The spin dryer works very well and gets most clothes very close to dry depending on the material. This part of the process involved a little trial and error for me. If the weight of the clothes isn’t properly distributed in the spin dryer, it will thump loudly against the drum and shake pretty violently. When this happens, i readjust the items in the drum. Once the weight is more balanced it picks up speed immediately and spins the hell out of the clothes… Very quietly! I hang the clothes on a foldable drying rack i got from Target and most of the items are fully dry overnight. I try to wash towels or other lint-producing items by themselves because it does seem that there’s no real lint solution built into this machine. A lint roller has been working fine for me though. What I love most about this machine is being able to stay on top of my laundry and keep it from piling up. I can do a small load every other day or so and it just makes laundry so, so convenient for me. As i mentioned, you’re more involved in the process with this machine and that’s totally fine for me as i can do other chores around my apartment in between the wash cycles, and between switching out the batches of clothes from the spin dryer. This machine is an excellent laundry solution for a single person and you could even make it work for two people if needed. I’m not sure about the durability over the long term as I’ve only had it for two weeks. I suppose there’s potential for the pump or the motor to go out eventually. But if it were to give out in a year, or even 6 months, i’d still consider it to be worth the cost ($143 after shipping and tax), based on the price of doing laundry outside the home and the huge convenience factor. ... show more

This is life changing to those who do not have their own laundry access and either have to share one in their apartment building or go to the public one. I tackled weeks worth of backed up laundry with it when I first got it. Successfully washed everything. You can’t wash blankets or pillows in it. But it’s large enough to fit about 15-20 articles of clothing in it at a time. And dry about 4-6 articles of clothing at a time. It’s helped me so much. I’m a single mother of 3 little ones. We need laundry done daily and this has taken the major stress off of going down to the city laundromat with kids as well as sharing filthy machines with others dirt and body secretions which always scares me and grosses me out. I’m glad I will never wash another intimate piece of clothing there agin. Also pants and shirts wash amazingly in there. Unfortunately it’s not big enough for blankets. I have been successful in washing queen & twin sized sheets. As well as large towels. Drying them with this machine is also a breeze. I give it 4 stars because you do need to watch it when you are adding water. I place mine in the shower for easy filling & draining. I use an extended shower wand with a hose to fill it up. I used to break my back lifting heavy water buckets after draining it. But then I had an epiphany to put it in the shower lol. It still requires some form of physical labor. You do have to squeeze clothing a bit before adding it to the spinner to dry for better drying results. Spinner works wonders. I just hate that it makes the whole machine shake violently. I would much rather it discrete so that it doesn’t bother my downstairs neighbors. I wish it came with a nice little alarm to alert you when it’s finished. I also invested in the UHOMY portable Dryer, and I tell you my laundry comes out better than the city laundromat. My clothes are cleaned and completely dry and hot. My children use the dryer to warm their blankets and towels. It’s great for that too! I will send pictures soon! UPDATE 11/18/24 It broke down. 1st the dryer spinner then went the washer itself. I also noticed water began to accrue in the washing machine no matter how much I drained it. The water never fully drained. Must have leaked deep into the machine somehow. Also, the machine does tend to blow the outlet out. I’ve never heard that issue before but it started to consume much more energy ... show more

I am really happy I spent the extra money and got this larger size vs all the other smaller ones. It washes a really good size load. The spin dry works fantastic. I only run that for 2 minutes and my clothes are ready to be hung up in line. I’m really happy with it. It was worth the extra money I paid for shipping so I got it right away as the other unit I ordered took weeks to find it was lost in transit.
