We liked the way our Live Oak tree looked in our drive so much at Christmas, we left the lights up and turning on every night and turning off at sunrise. These have been the best lights I think I have ever bought. I really enjoy having a durable light that I don't have to replace bulbs in.

Overall, I liked these lights. Not as big and bright as traditional Christmas lights, but still gets the job done and comes in various settings (flashing, slow transition, etc.). However, we would have to reset to our setting of choice after lights turned off. Therefore, we couldn’t really use a timer since the lights would turn back on to whichever default setting was first. I would give more stars but some the lights looked white while some had a yellow look to them. I birth 12 strands and had to redo my light halfway through as they were different colors There was not a remote control with the lights either

received 11/26/22. The lights are a little cooler color than some other warm white lights I purchased, but I like the color and they complement the other lights. I have had no issues with unplugging/turning off and having it "reset" as some reviewers describe. I did notice that after 6 hours the lights turned off automatically, but this is a feature that can be reset/turned off by pressing and holding the mode selection button on the plug. If the selection button is lit, it means it is in this auto-mode; just press and hold for 2-3 seconds until the light on the button goes out and they will then operate normally/stay on forever if you wish. ... show more
