This goal was easy to assemble but even with the breakaway goal is far too flimsy to be doing any dunking - even though it is pictured on the box the directions say not to dunk. Mounting over a door was easy but if you don’t have a fairly large gap over the door and the door frame you won’t be able to close the door with this installed. My sons closet had a larger gap so it fit over that and we were able to close the door. The included pump works well enough but will come apart if you get too energetic while pumping. Be sure to push the needle all the way into the ball to get it to pump effectively. I agree with other reviewers that I’m surprised the door brackets don’t secure to the backboard with nuts and plates similar to how the goal secures. I’m not sure how well simply relying on screws and the threads on the door brackets will hold up over time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Well, this hoop is as solid as it could be given its size, indeed not easy to break - the backboard looks shiny yet is very flexible. The ring has functional strain relief provisions as well. The balls are a bit smaller than I expected but fit the set perfectly well. This size ball appears to be just about the right size for 3-8 years old, for kids over 8 I think this is probably too small to be of any real training benefit. There’s an option to have it on the door or mounted into the wall. With a rental, we only wanted over the door. It’s really sturdy and came with tools, an air pump, and easy to read instructions. This could be an easy and simple review about a basketball hoop you should buy for your office or bedroom, but unfortunately, it isn't. If you take a close look at the instructions regarding how to mount it on the door, there is no mention of nuts to secure the hooks onto the board, despite having 2 extra nuts that you could use on 2 of the 4 screws, they seem to have completely forgotten about that detail. My other complaint is that you cannot fold this hoop in order for you to be able to fully open your door when not in use, now you are doomed to only being able to open your door 2/3 than what it used to. As a suggestion I would suggest some sort of ramp for the ball to come back to you when you score, despite coming with three balls and a pump, this is meant for lazy people, and trust me, I don't feel like getting up to go and bend down to get the balls every three throws. ... show more
