These have to be the WORST INSTRUCTIONS of anything I have ever purchased. You'll want to take the framework out of the box. Expand it to about 6 feet on each side. Place your canopy over the framework. The corners have two rectangular strips of velcro you attach to the two outside edges of all four corners (they mount 90 degrees from one another. Loosely attach the velcro strips on the side of the canopy to the TOP SIDE of the "scissor expansion side". In order for you to attach the velcro which holds the 4 diagonal brackets leading from the corners to the top of the framework, YOU MUST RAISE THE UPPER RED "CLICK BUTTON" TO ITS UPPERMOST POSITION AND LOCK IT IN PLACE. YOU WILL WANT HELP DOING THIS. Then fasten your velcro strips to the 4 diagonal brackers leading to the top. We broke one velcro strip trying to figure out this RUBIC'S CUBE CANOPY.     • Good Canopy that stands up to a moderate wind

Bought this canopy after reading reviews about how well it handles being in the wind and overall was happy with the performance. With the feet of the poles secured well, the canopy was not going anywhere with winds about 10-12 mph and was great for sun protection. The one downside, the connections where the Velcro ties attached to the canopy material started to show the starting strain of ripping. If these sections were reinforced to keep this from happening, it would have been a 5 star rating. On the whole was happy with the canopy and if just going to use in areas with light to no breeze, this would be perfect for your use. ... show more

    • Pretty good, it not as easy as other pop ups
I bought this to use at my farmers markets. Definitely need two people to put this up because it is not easy like EZ pop up canopy tents are. I like the reflective interior of the material so it keeps it cool, and I like the vent on top and it helps with Windy days. I bought this one it was a special for $119. I didn’t want to spend two to $300 on a brand-name one. Start off this is a decent canopy tent, although I’ve only used it once and I don’t know how it’s going to wear. Just a tip, as long as it isn’t rainy, you can keep the canopy top on when you fold your frame back up to put in the bag. Just be careful and talk in the fabric and make sure it doesn’t get pinched and torn. It takes two people to get it back in the bag . All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

I thought I could put this up myself based on the reviews but I couldn’t get it up all the way without my 6ft 4 husband to push up the opposite side as me. Also, the first big rain we had in California a few months after buying this and it started to sink in. I pushed off the collected water. The very next rainy day we had we weren’t home to take it down and the metal ended up collapsing. It was great while it was sunny. But it will not withstand wet weather. And unfortunately it’s a pain to put back up if you take it down. Sad that we wasted our money. ... show more

    • Survived Hurricane Ian!

We use this pop-up tent as a cover for our dogs' patio area, to give them shade and protect their dog houses, food, and water from the elements. Hurricane Ian/tropical storm by the time it got us, brought us sustained winds at 40mph and gusts to 60. We expected the tent to be wrecked. We were pleasantly surprised this morning to see the tent still standing. The tent held up great! One leg came out of the ground, so it was tilted over, but the frame and tent are in great shape! Need rain cover? then purchase a canopy with sharper slope angle roof and plastic coated tarp The weight of trapped snow or rain on the roof will damage the structure Excessive wind will tear a plastic coated tarp, lower the roof so less chance of blowing over Anchor all four legs with weights. I use one gallon jugs of water tied to the legs I needed extra shade in my yard. Other rain canopies trapped the heat, I needed a canopy with ventilation. During a huge rain storm the frame held up despite the water pooling and stretching the cover by 2 feet. An unexpected snow storm in mid April dumped 5 inches of snow. The frame collapsed and only two hinges were broke, ALL metal pieces did not bend. I hope my experience helps ... show more

    • Sturdy but head knocker

The tent structure is great but the supports hang low and people hit their heads on it leaving and entering the tent. I have other canopy tents that aren't as sturdy but you don't hit your head on them and that makes them so much easier to use.
