So far, so good. It’s exactly as described and easy to install. It would have been nice to have a little extra cord length for one of the strings to plug in the wall rather than need an extension cord, but that’s me being picky. The lights are not super bright, but provide a great ambience. After reading reviews, regarding bulbs not working upon install, I bought the extra set of bulbs. When I plugged it in, it appeared that 13 bulbs did not work. I was wrong. What seemed to be adequate installation of the bulbs turned out that they were not screwed in enough. It’s a really tight fit to the point I thought I would over-torque and shatter the bulbs in my hand. My suggestion is hang the lights without bulbs, install the bulbs after, then turn on the lights. Whichever bulbs are not on, twist them a little tighter into the socket and it should work. Some sockets are more snug than others. Either way, I have extra bulbs. I use it with a dimmer. Make sure if you buy a dimmer that you get one to support the wattage of your lights and/or any additional strings you want to add on. ... show more

Did not work, didn’t turn on. Received second set to replacement which also didn’t work and light bulbs were broken Update: I received multiple emails from the company offering tips on how to make the bulbs work. I purchased these last year and had absolutely no problems. The bulbs were tightened this time around and worked for a couple but not all and made bulbs burst. This was why I was unhappy. I don’t appreciate that this company continues to email me offering me a dimmer switch, replacement bulbs and now a $50 amazon gift card in exchange to delete my review. Trying to make it right is one thing, but asking me to delete a review because I received multiple defective items and am not interested in trying another one is not appropriate. ... show more

We ordered the 2-Pack SUNTHIN 48ft String of Lights to decorate an outdoor wedding reception. The lights are on heavy wire and well made. I had ordered extra bulbs, but all the bulbs worked out of the box. The longer strings gave us much better options in how we strung them up. We were worried about what to use as poles, but we found some poles at Lowe's that were actually for the top rail of chain link fences. They make black chain link fence now, so they were painted black which looked much more finished than regular aluminum. They also had a loop cap in that same department that fit those poles. We also found some large metal states about three or four feet tall in the concrete department. We used a post hole pounder to drive the stakes and poles into the ground. The looped caps worked very well to run the zip ties and wires through to hold up the lights. It all went together much quicker than we thought, and it was very sturdy. It turned out so lovely. I had mixed feelings about this purchase since the price for these lights vary greatly and usually that also is correlated to quality but in this case I want to set the record straight. When deciding to buy these lights I looked at the overall rating from other Amazon customers and they were good. When I looked at the last 30 days though the impression of this product started to change. I almost thought I was another customer that would rate this a 1 for the fact that the lights wouldn't work at all. For me, I decided to hang the lights first (without the bulbs) to avoid breaking them as I untangled the cords and they banged on the ground. After hanging all of the lights I then went back and screwed in all the lights but not all the way (which is the problem). I plugged in the cord and nothing worked. So many reviews mentioned that so I feared the worst. I decided to go back on Amazon and read thoroughly the product information which is different that what comes in the box. I went back and screwed in every bulb tightly and they worked. Maybe I am lucky here or maybe this is the same thing that happened to other people causing them to write bad reviews. Just remember at this price its a gamble. I have seen these lights for double the price on Overstock or Wayfair. Seller was responsive and helpful when I reached out. I am happy with my lights so far but its only been 1 day lets see how they last all season. Seller stated there is a ONE year manufacturer warranty even though nothing in the box states that. 5/28/20 - I will update my review if anything else changes in terms of quality or operation. ... show more

Everything worked fine right out the box.. heavy duty weather proof lights for sure..having Monsoon weather in my city and they still work great with no problem..don’t waste your money on cheap light when u can buy this 2 pack of 48ft.. The media could not be loaded. Loved them so much that I bought another set! Heavy duty. I love that there are holes above each socket to screw or nail to my fence. I had a copper wire led string lights before but apparently squirrels like to nibble on copper. I had no idea. This product is awesome.
