I am super pleased with this purchase. The color is exactly what I wanted. So many of the other quilts I was looking at, the reviews showed that it was more of a hunter/forest green. So I was really struggling to find a quilt that would actually be olive like the photo. The color is perfect. I have washed it once so far and it held up great. The material is very soft and I have not noticed any pilling as of yet. It is very lightweight but that is what I need for living in Florida. I was looking for a plain white lightweight bedspread when I found these. The choices in colors and patterns was mind blowing! I ended up getting the teal in squares and the white in diamonds. I layered them on my bed as you can see by the pictures. These are the most soft bedspreads ever!! I love these! So much so that I ordered my mom one in sage with clouds design! There is plenty of room for the spread to drape nicely and for those of you who get hot when you sleep, these should be light enough for you. Unbelievable quality for the price. This quilt has worked wonderfully. The color is slightly off from the picture… I don’t want to say greener because it’s absolutely not green at all, just slight different. But the yellow is still vibrant and beautiful. Only washed once upon arrival, but no pilling or snagging at all. I liked the weight. It’s lightweight but still warm. Right now it’s still winter in NY so there is a heavier blanket on the bed. It will be great for spring and summer. Very pretty color and nice detailing in the stitching.

    • NICE looking real stitches quilt set!

IF this rust tinged color had been a bit redder I might have kept this quilt set. I cannot believe that quilts are being made now without real stitches by just heat-pressing designs on top of fabrics. Buyer beware! For the money though, this is a really nice set that has real stitches and is very lightweight and perfect for our Hawaii climate. I think anywhere else one would need a blanket underneath it to stay warm enough especially in winter. I was torn between replacing this in the olive green color or going with a duvet cover set and an insert. In the end that's what I ended up doing. It worked out to be a little more expensive but I got the color match that was the most important thing I needed. If I had ordered this in the olive color first I might have kept it because it really is a beautiful quilt set. I ordered king size and used it on a queen bed which is a nice way to go. For a little more money you don't end up fighting over the blanket as there's plenty to go around. ... show more

I wanted a bedspread that had a soft, natural fiber, quilted feel, but that I didn't have to treat at all gently. My hand-pieced quilts stay at the foot of the bed for decoration only — they won't survive a lot of wear over time. This product does the heavy lifting as an attractive bed cover that's inviting and touchable, but totally durable. The color is deep but not loud. It needs to be washed right out of the package to fluff up the batting inside, but the end result is exactly what I needed, and for an affordable price. Love it. Side note — the pillow shams are oversized and a bit floppy, so they're not my favorite, but over all the set is a win. ... show more

    • Plenty Long, but not wide enough
I bought this comforter after my last one got ruined by the washing machine. My wife wanted something that matched the color of our bed frame and this one fit the bill perfect! The color on it is honestly great! My issue with it is really the sizing. I know that there are set measurements for queen/full beds, and all, but this one is just lacking a little bit. When I make the bed, I lay the quilt over the whole bed so the top lines up with the top of the mattress and then fold the top down and tuck the bottom between the mattress and bed frame. When I do this, there is almost 3 feet of extra material on the bottom which is wonderful, but on the sides, there isn't enough material to cover the down comforter we have. The material only goes down maybe a foot maximum. I really wish it went down a few inches further. I get this may mean that it wont work for a full bed, but if thats the case, make 2 different sizes. Just my honest opinion, but every day when I make the bed, it kinda bugs me. ... show more
