I tried 3 others before this one & all were weird in one way or another. On one the tape player didn't work,another was already obviously used & bulky,the other one sounded horrible. This one is perfect. It sounds fantastic,works well & so easy to use. It has CD,& cassette player ( I can hear all my Todd Rundgren cd's & my old 80's cassettes again!) ;) & it is super small & looks nice. This is for the Sunoony CD and Cassette Player Combo, the unit itself is about 8 and a half inches wide, 8 inches front to back, and 4 and a half inches tall. Radio reception seems decent, I am able to get my favorite FM station, so that's awesome, lol. CD player works good, and sound is good for the size of the unit, I'm able to rock out my favorite CDs :D Only issue I have is when taking the CD out, the door only opens to about a 45 degree angle. I have to put a finger and thumb from my left hand on each side to pull up, and use right index finger to hold down in the middle. Cassette player works to expectations, I tried it with a home recorded tape and am over all very happy with it. (Ecstatic actually to be able to finally be able to listen to my tapes again! It has been waaay too long. lol) The one thing that would make this a 5 Star Rating for me, would be a tape counter for the cassette player. ... show more

The CD player never worked at all..This was so disappointing because that is the main reason I bought it, plus it was bought as a birthday gift for a friend. I am so disappointed. This is a good product in terms of sound (I use it mainly for books on CD. My subtraction of one star is that the controls on the CD function are 'funky'. I cannot ever figure out a consistent pattern both starting the book on CD, pausing nor, especially annoying, repeating a section if I missed or want re-listen. It's very annoying indeed. I probably would not buy this boombox again due to it being hit or miss EVERY time I want to start the machine,s stop the machine turn it off or repeat a section....instructions are not helpful...but it still works well...but a very annoying machine. ... show more
