I was planning on giving this product 5 stars. As long as I made sure to charge it, this iron held charge long enough to allow me to curl my short bob without ANY issue. Compact and portable, it was a game changer for me. HOWEVER....it is getting 1 star SOLELY because of the lack of customer service. The 2 halves of this iron are held together by a metal pin that is secured in place with 2 plastic caps. After only a few uses, the plastic caps broke and the metal pin came out. The iron is unusable! I have no idea why the plastic caps broke because the iron was never dropped and was always packed deep inside my toiletry bag. I assume it was from the repeated open-close movement, but THAT'S WHAT YOU DO WITH A STRAIGHTENER/CURLING IRON!! I contacted Amazon Customer Service who told me to contact the manufacturer. I went through their little checklist of why I was trying to contact them and they kept referring me back to Amazon. I tried so many different ways to get in touch with someone because I wanted a REPLACEMENT! Not a refund! I loved this so much that I was willing to try again. Sadly, I got no assistance and now I am here warning the rest of the world.... ... show more

I have very curly hair, I am Hispanic, so I was a bit skeptical to try this. I was worried it wouldn’t get hot enough. This hair took heats up so fast and goes past 205 degrees! The battery last a while I haven’t had to charge it since I got it. It’s not to heavy with is perfect to keep in your purse! I love to throw this in my car and use it for touch ups before photoshoots! I purchased this because my $300 ghd cordless straightener finally gave out. As you can see from the picture this one is slightly smaller but the shape and style is pretty similar. This one actually weights much lighter than the ghd, the handle is also smaller and the charging cord is also smaller. This straightener also has a battery life of 30 minutes where the ghd was only 20 minutes. For $50 bucks I’d say this was a great purchase because I really liked the sleek look of the ghd and because it was small I can take it to work and fix my hair; I wanted to find something that was similar and this pretty much looks the same. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. First hair straightener that works. I loved this portable hair straightener, it's practical, it doesn't weigh much, it's easy to carry in your bag. The battery lasts a long time, I only charged it for 3 hours when I bought it and I've already straightened my hair 4 times. When you buy it, they include a comb, a hair clip, a charger and a protective case. It has three temperatures and it heats up very well and quickly at all of them.
