I was planning on giving this product 5 stars. As long as I made sure to charge it, this iron held charge long enough to allow me to curl my short bob without ANY issue. Compact and portable, it was a game changer for me. HOWEVER....it is getting 1 star SOLELY because of the lack of customer service. The 2 halves of this iron are held together by a metal pin that is secured in place with 2 plastic caps. After only a few uses, the plastic caps broke and the metal pin came out. The iron is unusable! I have no idea why the plastic caps broke because the iron was never dropped and was always packed deep inside my toiletry bag. I assume it was from the repeated open-close movement, but THAT'S WHAT YOU DO WITH A STRAIGHTENER/CURLING IRON!! I contacted Amazon Customer Service who told me to contact the manufacturer. I went through their little checklist of why I was trying to contact them and they kept referring me back to Amazon. I tried so many different ways to get in touch with someone because I wanted a REPLACEMENT! Not a refund! I loved this so much that I was willing to try again. Sadly, I got no assistance and now I am here warning the rest of the world.... ... show more

This cordless hair straightener and curler - 2in1 - is very lightweight, easy to set up and use, and I do believe would be perfect for traveling. But that's about all I'd recommend it for. If you are looking for a hair tool that you can do your hair for a long time, this is not what you need. I do think it does a good job, for the amount of minutes it works, but mostly for touching up or a quick little straighten. I also really like that the cord for charging is one I have on hand already, so it's easily able to charge when you need it to. And it does get hot, so please be careful while using. ... show more

This iron worked well if I curled or straightened 1 chunk of hair, then waited for 1-2 minutes for it to reheat, then do the next chunk. So it takes a bit of patience and time to do all of your hair but it does work. I just did a bit of my make up every time it was reheating.

This is the best and most convenient hair straightener ever!! Its super easy to use and its a perfect size to have for on the go. I usually like to take this to work on my work bag for whenever i need a touch up because my hair tends to get frizzy as the day goes on.
