This cable was pretty simple to install, you don't really need a spudger as some installation tutorials suggest. Handle with care! Make sure you're wearing gloves that don't leave residue. Once installed on my 13" 2010 Macbook Pro it was a little longer than expected. Trying to place the cord in a way that doesn't bend it was a small challenge but I managed to do it. My new SSD runs like I have a brand new computer! Overall, worth the purchase, especially if you have a Macbook Pro thats bigger than 13". ... show more

You can't find a better replacement ribbon than this. Trust me on that. I bought two just in case and thankfully due to their quality, only had to use the one.
