Delivered on time without damage. Nicely and safely packaged. Because this 10K unit is an upgrade from a smaller inverter, installation was quick and simple. All the cables, wires, batteries, etc. were all in place. Installation only took a few hours. Even the settings were similiar to my old inverter so it was easy to set up. I had a few questions so I did call Sungold and I got answers fairly quickly with a pleasant response. Opted to go this route for a RV set up using 4 24V/200ah batteries in 2S/2P configuration (20Kw). Install was fairly easy as the unit weighs about 50 lbs. Because of the tight fit, it was very difficult connecting the 50a A/C cables. Prob not an issue if you have more space. Got everything hooked up except solar (next project, will update) and fired it up. Running on line power is no problem. It handles all loads and charges the batteries at the same time. On battery/inverter ran it up to 6000 watts and it worked fine too. Does get load with the fans, though. My most notable complaint would be a lack of a remote panel set up. or a blue tooth option. It does have a Wi-Fi but I haven't figured out how to connect yet. Because it's another Chinese made product, I warrantied thru Amazon to be safe. Also rolling the dice when it comes to support as I have asked a few questions at the Sungold web site and received no replies. Overall satisfied with product so far... ... show more

This inverter is probably the best deal on the net! All 9kw of my solar connected to built in MPPT. I have been off grid for 15 years. This 10000 watt inverter replaced my 6000 watt sungoldpower 24 v low frequency split phase which still works years later. Just needed an upgrade. We threw everything at this inverter to try to overload. Well pump, coffee maker, microwave, induction cooktop, toaster oven all at the same time. No overload to the inverter! Runs quiet at night. Fans run during charging and heavy loads but not too loud. ... show more

I bought this Sungold Power 10k to replace another inverter, the Y&H 3600W. With the Y&H inverter and 6 solar panels (440W each), I was able to get 2400W output. However, with the Sungold Power 10k and 8 panels (totaling 3520W), I can only get a maximum of 2000W. I don't have a battery, so I turned this option off in the menu. I set it to Utility mode and on menu 34, I set it to MIXLOD. When MIXLOD is set to use solar power to provide power to the load and complement it with Utility, it performs very poorly. Another major issue is that once the sun goes down and there is no more power to the PV, the unit shuts down with error 15, "Inverter overcurrent hardware protection." Update 07/01/24 I’ve been in contact with customer support by email and they have been responsive and attempting to remediate the issue. No resolution yet. Im very dissatisfied getting the started with this product 08/21/24 After some time using this product, I will bump it up from 1 to 3 stars. I still face the same issues, however, after adding the battery bank. Some of the issues went away. I’m assuming this inverter cannot operate properly without batteries or my unit is indeed malfunctioning without it. I bought two of the 10000w All in One units to replace two of the Sungold Power 6548 inverters I had running in parallel. This now provides the same as a 100 amp service to the house. These are a big improvement having 220v split phase out of the box and wiring in parallel the load sharing is perfection. They were not too difficult to program and configure though some of the items can be confusing but support was very helpful and there is an online community that is also very helpful. The built in charge controllers are an awesome bonus and can handle 5000 watts of solar per charger... Two chargers per inverter... That's 44 of my 405w panels...I decided I need a bigger roof! I have these in my garage and they have worked flawlessly even through the 98-102 degree temps that frequent the garage. I'm also getting ready to install a 3 ton inverter heat pump and this will handle that and the rest of my all electric house without breaking a sweat. The price was one of the big selling points making this such a sweet deal and the color blue is just sexy. I actually bought two more to install in my son's house! The only thing I don't like is the management/monitoring software and mobile app. I went with a third party application that integrates wonderfully and can even integrate into a full smart home suite. ... show more
