I read the reviews and took a chance with this. I did as others have stated and used some in my hair conditioner. Then I also put this on my wet skin after my shower and patted dry. I didn't think about it for a few hours after my shower until I walked by my mirror and noticed my hair wasn't it's normal frizz. And I checked my skin and it was super soft! Used it last night after I showered. I put a small amount in my hand and rubbed it in my damp hair. This morning I woke up and my hair was soft and shiny without being weighed down like a lot of products do to your hair. I also read it is good for your face so I applied it. Not heavy at all. It is supposed to help with collagen and dark circles around your eyes. This is my first time using avocado oil for my face. I have used coconut and grapeseed oil before. I am very pleased with it, I put a little in my hands and rub it around before applying to my face to ensure I don't get too much. It is not greasy but does leave some moisture on my skin, which is what I need. I do it right before bed. I bought this oil to add to a new lotion idea. I make my own beauty products and usually stick to my recipes, but wanted to try something different. The oil doesn't smell rancid, it has a nice feel, and it blends well. It is not the most cost effective for making a lot of product but for one of my personal batches, I could make several whipped lotions from it and do well for my cost to product. After reading about the nourishment avocado oil provides, I decided to give this product a try. My incredibly thirsty skin quickly absorbed the oil, leaving my skin hydrated all day! I took about a dime-sized amount of the oil and rubbed it into my palms of my hands and smoothed my hair with it; it left a really nice sheen. I have a history of dry feet, well, not anymore. Before bed, I'd give myself a nice foot rub with the oil and nestled my feet into cotton socks overnight. After a few nights, my dry feet were improving; they were becoming softer and hydrated.
