I’ve needed a steamer for a long time because i wear dress shirts every day but they often get wrinkled in my bag. I had used a really nice one at a hotel a few months ago and ever since I’ve been trying to get the same quality for a fraction of the price and boy does this deliver. Gosh, what a disappointment! Normally, I don't write bad reviews but when I saw nothing but outstanding reviews on this one and saw that it was a generic brand, in the price range of the name brand one that was quite similar, I thought, forget the name brand! I'm gonna opt for this one, bc it must be better! Ha! Sadly, it wasn't so exciting and wonderful after all! It took me several minutes, frustrating, minutes, to get the dang thing to respond to any touch, to just turn the flipping thing on! Once it started working? I thought OK OK maybe it's just the first time or something. The steaming process actually worked amazing! I give it five stars for that! But then I couldn't even get it to turn off without having to unplug it! So I tried it again, and no nothing! All the lights turned on the touchscreen, but it would not work unless I played with it for several minutes! It's very frustrating when you read all these great reviews and time after time, and then it turns out to be a big disappointment! Bc. research the heck out of reviews, and even though the one I ended up buying, didn't seem to have as great of reviews as this one? It is a tried and trusted, well known name brand....Electrolux!! It's a black beauty is what it is! With a touch screen that actually works, and surprisingly?? It not only get the job done beautifully?     • WHY AM I WAITING?
I really took my time to invest in a quality hand steamer well I really should have took a little more time. When I use my steamer for the first time I thought I got a lemon because it wouldn’t turn on when I touched it but then I tried after a few touches to rest on the touch and it came on! I thought awesome ok I got this. Long be hold as I was steaming my garment it ran out of water, ok so that not a big deal I just filled it back up to the max line and started back steaming. But a few minutes into the steam the steamer cut off…. Relly… ok I’m touch resting and touch resting and it’s not coming back on, granted I have to be out the door in 15 minutes. I kept trying until the time was to go. My garment was half wrinkled, I was so mad. I wanted to see if it was something I was doing so I didn’t call customer service I waited to use it again. So I am here steaming my curtains and the steamer turns off again, I look to see if it was out of water, I toped it off just to make certain. It came back on and I started steaming and minutes later it turned off and wouldn’t come back on. If this product is super sensitive with steam why is it called a hand steamer that’s what it’s job is to do until all the wrinkles are removed not take breaks on my time. ... show more

Tried contacting customer service to no avail. Oh well Update:No longer 1 star. Customer service reached out and gave me a full refund. Thanks

The media could not be loaded. Received the item not long ago and tried it today. The result is satisfying. Light weight, easy to use with sensor button. It automatically turn off when idling. I would recommend it to my friends and family members
