Great for people who like to sit on the floor for long period of time while doing stuff like playing video games, crocheting, ect. Nice to also have an additional seat thats more comfy than the floor for say like a movie night. Its looks pretty nice. The chair is lightweight so its pretty easy to store and move around. It feels pretty sturdy, like it will hopefully last for a while. The fabric seems durable. Wish it maybe came in some other more fun colors.     • Sitting on the floor has never been this comfortable!

To begin, I've been sitting on the floor quite a bit the last several months, as one does when they get a new puppy. It was during the third hour, propping myself up with my arms, that I figured there was probably a better way. Thus, this wonderful Sundale floor chair was bought. It's supportive, reasonably sized, and most importantly, easy to clean the fabric! (see aforementioned puppy) It truly makes sitting on the floor while my little furry terror runs around the room that much more comfortable. I was worried that I would perhaps feel the frame of the chair, or that the cushioning would be lacking. I'm not a small man, but this chair has been working incredibly well for me, and I found myself sitting on this chair last night instead of the couch. Now all that said above, there was a mild creaking noise that came from the chair the first time I used it. Granted, I'm above the weight max of this chair, so I'm not counting these creaks against it. My only wish is that it would lay flat slightly easier - there's a ratchet point so close to the flat position that I almost always have it in position 1 (out of 5, 1 being near flat and 5 being 90 degree angled) than flat when storing it. Great purchase, will most likely grab another for camping or even guests. ... show more

A few weeks ago I went to a concert in the park where I had to sit for hours on a blanket. It wasn't comfortable. Knowing I had a picnic coming up I decided to get this to see if back support would make a difference. Boy did it! I was able to happily sit and chat for hours with no discomfort and minimal repositioning. I found that just off 90° was the sweet spot for reclining without feeling like you'd tip over. This product does bill itself as indoor use so bear in mind that it is rather unwieldy if you're using it outdoors. It doesn't fold in half, doesn't have a carry handle, and doesn't have a removable cover for cleaning. I've used it twice now on a picnic blanket and so far it's been okay but it's not the most fun thing to lug through the park. I am concerned about the fold mechanism. While it does work it feels like something that could break relatively easily. For the money, I wish it felt more solid. We'll see how well it holds up over time. Overall though it does what I need it to do. It's been a game changer for picnics and I wouldn't do ground seating now without it. ... show more

Santa brought this in navy for my 13-yr-old to use when he plays video games. The chair was such a hit, that I wish Santa had brought one for my 8 and 6-yr-olds, as well! They all love it!! My 6-yr-old prefers to lay it flat and cozy up in a blanket like a floor bed. :) Very easy to use, comfortable, and not too bulky. Perfect for any activity when sitting on the floor is involved...game play, puzzle and Lego building, reading, and/or watching movies. Since it isn't that big, I would probably not recommend it for adults over 5'7" or weighing more than 180 lbs. Seems like it will be durable enough for its purpose and a great product for the price!! ... show more

Upon opening the box: "Soft fabric, cushion is thick and firmer than expected." Sitting on chair the first time: "Wow! These are comfy!" So far I am quite satisfied with these chairs. I ordered two to use at my Japanese heated table (kotatsu) and they fit perfectly. I have used this type of chairs at friends houses and they always were uncomfortable. The cushion on these is firm and a good 2.5" thick so hopefully it won't flatten much over time. They lie flat which is perfect to store in the space behind my sofa. Cover zips off to wash. Overall, the quality seems very good, I'm not sure I would trust them as much with a very large person but they should hold up for quite a while. ... show more

    • Mixed Feelings and Long Term Use
I've had this chair a little over a year now. I have my computer connected to my TV as well as game systems. I use it with my low table that I use for my keyboard/desk space or just sitting down to play games or watch something. I've sat in this chair for MANY hours (total and consecutively). I am 5'4" so I'm not sure how experiences will compare with being tall. I'm sure the back would be a bit short for you. I've had plenty of problems over time. Be really careful if you want to wash the outside cover. You might end up ripping the foam surrounding the frame, which happened very easily. When sitting on the chair for a lot of time, the cushioning goes into the metal frame and you end up with barely any cushion. It eventually stays sunken in as you sit more. The worst part is when the foam at the top of the frame wears down the metal frame digs in your back. I cut up some upholstery foam and added a layer of cushion under the cover, which fixed this problem. You have to add stuff yourself DIY style to really make it LONG TERM comfortable. With the extra layer I added it is still pretty comfortable. The frame is very strong and I keep it locked at the most upright sitting position. Recently the frame has started to squeak pretty bad. I guess I need to get a new chair soon. :( Unfortunately it's hard to find long lasting chairs for the floor if you're in a western country, especially for a good price. I'll probably have to look into a nice zaisu and put more money into it. ... show more
