    • This is a "release by friction" type lotion
I was skeptical of purchasing because some reviews complained about it being hard to rub in or having a weird consistency. I'm very pleased I purchased it anyway. It's a release by friction product. You have to rub it in until it "releases" and it will spread evenly over the skin. It smells amazing and per ounce is ridiculously cheaper than other tanning lotions I've used before. It doesn't contain bronzer so no gross orange palms and no transfer to clothes. Finding a tanning lotion without bronzer can be difficult so I was extremely pleased that this is bronzer free. I will update my review after a few more uses so I can accurately describe how well it actually darkens my tan. All in all though it seems like an amazing product and if it helps me tan darker and/or faster I will be purchasing several more bottles. ... show more

    • Decent lotion
This smells really good and goes on pretty nicely. It isn't sticky at all. This contains no sunscreen so if you're looking for protection from UV rays, you'll need to put sunscreen on in addition to this. I use this outside and it works ok.

    • Nice scent, still wore SPF product
I use this product outside in natural sunshine. I do not like to get a sunburn, so I applied my regular 15 SPF product to my skin, then I applied this product. The application is a little weird, the product is "loose" but does rub into the skin. I got a nice even tan with this method and the product does have a nice light tropical like scent. This works ok as a tanning lotion. I use it in the stand up bed. My other lotions I get from the salon give me much better results but I keep this as a back up for when I run out of my first choice. It smells fine and goes on smooth. Just doesn’t give the results I want.

    • Works, but....
I read some other reviews before posting mine. I wanted to see how others felt about the application of this product. First let me say that this stuff works. I have used it twice and it works a lot faster than the other stuff I had been using. I hate that it works, mainly because of how it goes on the skin. It is hard to explain. You put the blob on and start rubbing, but if you move your hand too fast, it slides right off the cream and you can't spread it. You have to smear a bit up your leg, then work that around the leg, if that makes sense. If you rub too fast it won't absorb correctly. As for absorbing, it does. It takes a little bit and then you still have the feel of it, but it isn't really greasy. It does have a nice tropical scent. I do like that. I don't smell like I'm covered in tanning lotion. Now, for as much as I do not like how it feels going on, I would buy it again. Comparing the cost to the effectiveness and the cost of other lotions, it's worth the strange application. It does moisturize, my skin is nice and soft. Oh, added bonus.... The other stuff I've used makes it hard for me to stay in the bed for long times because I end up with a rash on my legs or burn funny in different spots. This stuff didn't do any of that. Nice even tan and I could have even stayed in longer. ... show more
