    • It worked to remove mildew from out front load washer seal

We have a pair of GE frontload washer/dryer. We chose these after 15 years of another brand that I was constantly repairing. Anyway the new GE washer featured a Microban coated seal to prevent mildew build up as well as a venting cycle to air out the washer. We routinely wiped down the seal after every use and ran the clean cycle and venting cycle but after two years the mold/mildew stains just grab on and no matter what don't want to come off. After sitting in front of the machine for a couple of hours trying different cleaners I gave up and started searching the internet for a product that would work. I came across several products one of them being Sugelary Mold Remover Gel. After reading several reviews it appeared to offer the best possibilities. The price for two bottles was discounted so I made the purchase. It was a few days after it arrived where there was a lull in washer use. The bottle came with a normal cap and a tapered cap and spout. You don't need to cut anything, just switch the caps out and you are ready to go. I followed the advice of another user and applied the gel before bed and thickly covering all the mildew I could get to. The next morning I went to work and forgot about it. My wife called me later and told me she was doing a load of laundry did she need to do anything with the gel coating. I told her to wipe it off and let me know how it looked. She said it had taken off all the mildew but that the heaviest spot at the bottom was still there but about 95% gone. After laundry she applied some more gel and we let it sit over night. The next morning we wiped it away and there was no sign of mildew. Very happy with the products performance. And I forgot to take before and after photos. :( ... show more

My washer, even when leaving the door vented by the door magnet still gets a little mold around the rubber piece. I was soaking a rag in bleach and leaving it, but it was way too strong and left the entire household in danger because that’s not good to breathe in. This is a gel which you can very precisely dab onto the moldy area. It’s still a bleach, but since you use so little of it and it’s a gel rather than straight bleach, it’s much better. I had my doubts, but after leaving it on for a few hours with the door open, and then wiping it down with a cleaning rag, it really did do the trick.     • Removed black mold from an old front-loading washer's door seal

I layered it thick (about 1/4 inch) on the completely dry, front-loading machine's rubber seal where the mold areas were, and let it sit for over 9 hours. (The seller recommends 5-8 hours.) After a few hours I could see it was working through the clear gel. Magic! No smell that I could detect, but I didn't get too close. When done, I wiped the gel off with paper towels. I highly recommend using disposable gloves since the gel was still clear and soft, and about the same amount as when I applied it. In other words, a bit messy. Result: The black mold was completely gone, except for a faint gray stain where it was. (It's a several-years-old apartment-grade washer, so no surprise there. Mold loves to dig into things.) I then ran a couple of machine cycles using the "clean washer" setting. Excluding the wait time for the gel to work and the washing machine cleaning cycles, it took maybe 1/2 hour of my time. Nothing else had worked for me previously - spraying with vinegar, covering/scrubbing with baking soda, and even using a special mold & mildew spray.     • Finally got rid of mold stains on rubber gasket

I tried everything to scrub off the mold stains on my front loader washing machine door gasket. It was leaving my clothes smelling musty and driving me nuts! I found this product and it worked beautifully. It is thick and stays where you squirt it. The stains and smell was gone in two applications. I got most of it in the first go around and got the spots I had missed the second time around. I let each application set for 24 hours. Scrubbed it, wiped it down and then ran a cleaning cycle on the machine settings. My clothes don't have a musty smell anymore and the stains are completely gone! ... show more
