It does what it's suppose to do. I've been using it to shorten some longer logs I have lying around. Nothing big. Cuts down trees you could wrap your hand around. The chain occasionally gets caught in the wood but I'm no expert and that might be normal. Still gets the job done

For $10 I didn't expect a whole lot. I figured very cheap pouch, chain that would snap on the first try. Did that happen? NOPE! The pouch was actually very nice material, nice clip and belt loop.
