  • Blade agitation structure and flow adjustment port: To address the issue where slab-shaped or flocculent fertilizers get stuck and can't be spread evenly, this product incorporates a blade mixing mechanism inside the hopper. As it's pushed along, the internal blades stir the fertilizer, ensuring even distribution. Beneath the hopper, there's a flow adjustment port, allowing real-time regulation based on desired spreading rate and fertilizer granule size.
  • Adjustable fertilizer spread area: The drum is connected to the tires via gear chains. As the wheels turn, they drive the drum's rotation. To switch the spreading area, simply press down lightly on the handle to lift the drum wheel off the ground. Using the two fixed wheels at the back, you can then push it forward, stopping the fertilizer application, allowing for area transition.
  • A lawn drop spreader and a garden tool cart: Addition of a metal pallet inside the hopper. It allows to conveniently position fertilizer bags, streamlining the fertilizing process.     • Great product for the mechanically gifted
I am not mechanical although this product was the first that I simply could not understand how to assemble. The "directions" are 21 steps comprised of drawings. The parts appear to be sturdy and I guess this would be a good product if you can put it together. After six hours of frustration, I gave up and will be returning it. ... show more

    • Shocking how heavy-duty this is, holy cow
Well, my part #15 has a stripped locking screw, so I cannot complete assembly. I'm so bummed out, as I was just waiting for the snow to come (ice melt) and it sure did. But alas, the poor spreader sat outside empty and alone. I did try to contact support for replacement part, but it was weird and I kept going in circles clicking trying to get support. When the weather breaks here, I'll take that part to someone, machine guy I suppose, to fix it. Overall, this spreader is beautiful, a monster :). It is sooo heavy duty. I love the lid. Assembly takes a while, and I couldn't complete that, but I see how to put the chain on and the other end steps, clear and easy to understand. ... show more

    • Great Product but a bit pricey
This compost spreader is a great thing if you have a lot of small animals. We have a lot of rabbits and dogs. We also compost our food, and the rabbits have hay that they drop. Every now and again we get truckloads of mulch from tree service companies dropped off too. This spreader allows it all to go together, minus big chunks of wood, and get mixed into a nice compost and fertilize the yard and trees. It’s pretty heavy duty. I really like that its chain driven. I’m not sure that I would use it for salting the ice and snow even though it’s powder coated, for fear of rust. Overall, a great product, but just a little on the pricey side. ... show more

This beast is HEAVY, and requires a fair amount of assembly up-front. While it does take some strength and endurance to push around for more than a few minutes at a time, the build quality is phenomenal. This thing will last for years unless you leave it out in the elements. The mechanics are chain-driven (not belt) so not only will it not wear out easily, it also won't slip as a belt might. ... show more
