I got a great deal on this watch and I really liked how it looked but on the first time I tried it on and started wearing it around. I noticed that the time was off on it and that’s what I noticed the gears weren’t moving. I’ve tried looking up how to get it to work properly, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to fix it, because it’s an automatic clock meaning there’s no battery. EDIT: after additional research, I figured out that this is a mechanical automatic watch which means you have to hand wind it while it’s in the first position by rotating it 25 times upwards so from 6 to 12 or clockwise. I watched a YouTube video titled “Automatic Watches - a Stuhrling Instructional Video Visit” and it helped me figure out how to get it to work properly. I have a number of self winding watches. This is not one of them. I know that having to wind it myself shouldnt be a big deal, but I'm really disappointed. I bought it as a promotion gift for myself, and I still never know what time it is...

This is a lovely watch, but after trying it on I realized the face was too large for me. When I returned it, the 3rd party seller withheld a $14.50 restocking fee. Amazon support was great. When I complained, they issued me a $14.50 promo to apply to another order. My lesson learned: "Free Returns" applies to shipping; third parties can keep some of your money. ... show more
