I was hesitant about this purchase because of some of the negative reviews, I am pleasantly surprised. Other than the sketchy box it came in it’s perfect. Like others have said the initial charge took longer as it came completely dead, almost 2 hours. But otherwise the face and underside have zero wear or scratches. The band came like new. I can even tell the color of aluminum dark green. It seems once the watch is set up it is as good as a brand new watch. It holds a good charge, tracks my steps, easy to use. Received the watch as an excellent condition watch. The watch glass was perfect, the stainless steel models have a harder more resistant glass crystal. It is worth it. The stainless steel body was not scratched but in great shape. The band that came with it was not a apple product, but it was just as good of quality. So as a refurbished product I am happy. My issues inhave are with apple and their software. I am using this as a stand alone device for a child. Did have Gabb but their GPS tracking on the gabb 3 watch kept failing to work. Basically stopped altogether. Apple as a stand alone watch will not let you place apps like life360 or spotify. Also, if you want to use this as a standalone device for a child you must have a iphone on the same cellular account. Can't use a iPad to setup or another iPhone not on the same cellular plan (so not company phone to setup either) Not everyone in a family uses or wants to use apple products. So family tracking without a iphone is painful. ANDROID users would have to to track a standalone watch for a child but themselves creating a apple id and then logging onto that with a web browser. Then the going to Find My device (after you are added to the family share) you can bookmark the page and set it as an button on your homepage. Them you would have to log on to manually view. So no setting up geofence rules and alerts based on a geofence. Apple really needs to learn how to compete instead of restrict with their software. ... show more

I love it! It’s perfect for what I need. I’m 5 months postpartum and I also work on my phone so I needed something that counts steps for me and also I can get calls on when I can’t reach for my phone. This does everything I need it to plus some. Yes like others have said the battery life isn’t 100% but what exactly can you expect with a gen 7? I don’t use all the extra monitors etc so the battery life works just perfect for what I need it for and I still have a bit extra at the end of the day so I’m happy. I got the excellent condition and it came with no real scratches etc. maybe a few tinyyyyyyy buffs on the metal but I can’t complain about that at all, it really isn’t bad and it’s pretty normal for use. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for something new without breaking the bank. Only downside was the disabled Oxygen Sensor. Okay, so I don't know who Amazon's using for their renewal services, but whoever they got good lord are they good. I originally ordered the Aluminum Case in Abyss Blue, but it's far too bright a color. Then I saw the Stainless Steel version, which, if you didn't already know, doesn't use the Ion-X strengthened glass crystal, opting instead for sapphire. Given that it has a Mohs hardness of 9 minimum, it is of course completely unmarred. The stainless steel case has a few small blemishes, but only light surface stuff, nothing significant; to even see it requires specific lighting. As for exactly how "renewed" it is? I mean, the photo of the Battery Life screen says it for me. This watch is essentially unused, the back completely free of defect and the front of the case being the only part that displays any signs of wear, and those only the slightest of surface scratching. The only point where you can tell at all at a glance that this is used is to examine the band. While the color is perfect (most of my accessories are dark blue), the silicone itself shows signs of abrasion and use. I don't see this as any kind of detractor; this site has no end of crazy and inexpensive bands. I'll be filing a review here soon for the knockoff Milanese Loop I picked up for this, it's actually a better design than the Apple version, and it won't set you back a C-note. Overall, this is a good value. Great quality for reconditioned/renewed, the price is almost half what was new, and this in only a year. Again, no idea who they're using, but they're frankly amazing.
