I will have to wait and see how this collar works for us. My first impression is that it is sturdy. I don't really like the fact that part of the closure is velcro. It closes with a metal buckle after the velcro closure. The large fits my 75 pound husky perfectly. I really hope it last as long as his last collar or longer. It came with cute patches/ don't know if they will stay attached to the collar/ they stick on with velcro. Will update in a few months! ... show more

I was looking forward for this collar for my dog to have when I let him off the head harness. It is well mad, has a good clasp and a safety velcro closure under it, but it is just too heavy in my opinion. Doesn't seem to bother my dog though. The handle is massive which is good but then it is so heavy it tirns the collar around so it is under the head and doesn't remain at the back of the neck. I think all the outer velcro attachments are redundant and mostly get dirt attatched to them, so maybe if I take them off the collar would be lighter. In summarry- potentially good but has faults ... show more
