    • Fabulous light poles. Sturdy and stable once set.
My ground tends to be either really soft when wet, or cement hard when dry. The poles that are held with tines tend to sway and possibly fall during the rainy season. During the dry season inserting anything more than an inch into the ground is like drilling through cement. These looked like the best solution. And that is exactly what they proved to be. I was able to set them deep enough for them to stay stable. I have learned a way to “cheat” when trying to plant or set something in the dirt. I have a very long and 4-inch-wide auger drill bit that is designed to dig holes for planting. I put it on the cordless drill and drilled about an 18” hole. These were super simple to set at that point. Now, when people walk through the backyard, they are no longer in danger of getting tangled up in the lights. The lights hang properly overhead. These are great and do exactly what they were designed to do. If you need light poles, I highly recommend these as a great choice. ... show more

    • Sturdy poles that are easy to assemble and install
These light support polls are very heavy sturdy thick metal that have a screw in tape cork screw base that screws into the soil. They support the café lights with no issue. The design is simple which is what I like as sometimes garden elements have too many needless curly metal pieces that I don’t care for. As if designed to be a cartoon, there is none of that over the top bad design nonsense in these poles. ... show more

Okay let me start by saying these were a pain for me to get the auger part into the ground, but having said that, SO much more stable than the ones that you just push into the ground. There is no way they are tipping over unless someone uses them for a dance pole. They were very easy to put together and work perfectly! I wish more than two came in a package. 😊 ... show more

These went together smoothly. They have enough of a gap in the top to fit fat rope lighting. The large ground screws make them super secure.

    • Heavy duty!
Super strong poles to hang lights across your yard. While not highly adjustable, these poles are very heavy duty. Both above and below ground. They install simply by using the screwed style bottom down about 18 in using a steel rod that comes with the kit. These rods do not bend under tension and for the most part just seem to laugh at any stresses thrown at them. The downside is they are not very adjustable as you can only remove the rod segments. So if you need a 6 ft holder or a 9-ft holder you're okay. But if you need something between then you are out of luck. I was lucky as I wanted full extension and I really like the fact that the rods are so heavy duty. ... show more

These are great for outdoor lighting. I had some rope lights I’ve been wanting to put up for some time and finally got the right outdoor poles that not awful looking. These are simple in appearance and easy to install. Also very sturdy on those windy/rainy days. Would recommend these for your yard!

    • Check for threads on pipes! These could've been 5* UPDATE: 04/'22
My hubs checked to make sure all parts were in box before starting, yes, all there, yay! These would be perfect if each pipe was threaded at 1 end like supposed to be! He got almost done and last section of pipe not threaded, grrr. The heavy metal pipes are certainly sturdy, 6 connectors threaded both ends are sturdy metal. The heavy metal screw shaped pcs go about a foot into the ground and there is a metal rod you slide thru the hole in each top piece to help you turn them. UPDATE: Company quickly sent replacement, gratis. Was kept informed of shipping & the cust.srv team was excellent..Now I rate a 5***** ... show more
