The only thing I didn’t like was the front end where the handle bars go into the front wheel assembly. The whole front end when attached allows for the front wheel to spin 360 degrees. Not sure that’s necessary for a kids bike I’d prefer that it has some limiters on how far you can turn the front wheel. This isn’t a bike to do tricks on so I think it’s a safety issue. Odd as this company seems very geared towards child safety from their product documentation. That’s not enough to ding them on the product because overall the fit and finish is excellent. Paint is beautiful. Parts are high quality. I’d be sure to check the tire pressure before riding too. I’m not sure what others are talking about as far as assembly, all you do is fit the front end to the frame and the handlebars. Then adjust the seat. All the tools are included. LOVE this balance bike. My 5yr old was struggling on her "big girl" bike when we took the training wheels off. She got the balance bike for Christmas and has been on it every day since. By the 1st of the year she was riding her "big girl bike with no training wheels. She still uses the balance bike everyday since it requires less effort/work than the big girl bike and she can go faster on it than she can the big girl bike. Great product. Great size.     • Easy balance to pedal transition

Purchased bike along with the pedal kit. My 5 year old had ridden a smaller balance bike prior to this one. Transition to this bike was easy for her. Within a few weeks getting used to the bike she requested the pedals be put on. Pedals very easy to assemble into frame. She rode away using the pedals seamlessly! Great bike, great transition from balance to pedal. My daughter is average size for her age. As she rides, the handle bar grips are too small for this age of child. She gets blisters on her thumb after each ride. We have transitioned her to a different bike due to this. Great bike, definitely needs wider grip handles. Would recommend this bike. ... show more

Very easy to assemble. Using this for my 5 and 7 year old girls (they are both petite). The 7 year old has been afraid to try biking again since she wiped out a few months ago. The seat on the Strider is Adjustable to fit both of my girls. Since they were arguing over it, we took the pedals off the other old kid’s bike for my 7 year old and it’s working for her (lucky for me). The Strider is better as it has the lower bar for stepping over and no pedal “arms” sticking out. My 5 year old would not be able to ride the old bike. After 1 day on the Strider, my 7 year old went to the “pedal-less” old bike without any trouble and with her confidence back. After 2 days, the 5 year old is already gliding down slight inclines. Most important, they are both having fun! I am very happy with the Strider and glad it can grow with my kiddo via the pedal kit.
