As much as I wanted the elastic string for making bracelets, I was excited about the needles that came with the set. Made it through one and a half bracelets before breaking. The first bracelet was with the 0.8mm elastic string and the needle seemed to work fine. The second bracelet was with the 1.00mm elastic string and the needle broke at one end. I thought I might be able to still use the other end but that end broke as well. I'm really not sure if it had anything to do with the thread as much as the very thin and flimsy needle. So far the elastic string seems to be pretty good. The knots I tied stayed in. It does seem to stretch out so you might want to stretch it a bit before tying a knot. ... show more
