Description

The Streamlight 69262 TLR-1 HL is a lightweight, compact, high lumen lithium battery powered gun-mounted tactical flashlight featuring the latest in shock- proof high power LED technology and providing 1.5 hours of continuous run time. The high-power LED, while light source is impervious to shock with a 50,000-hour lifetime. The 1,000 lumens, 20,000 candela peak beam intensity and 283m beam distance shines light when and where you need it. The TIR optic produces a concentrated beam with optimum peripheral illumination and the optimized electronics provide a regulated intensity during operation. The TLR-1 features an ambidextrous momentary/steady On-Off switch and a double tap or momentary paddle within 0.4 seconds activates the strobe functionality. This Streamlight TLR-1 HL model number 69262 comes with 2 x 3-volt CR123A lithium batteries, which are included, and the Long Gun Kit which includes TLR-1 HL with Thumb Screw, "Safe Off" Door switch, Remote Pressure Switch and Mounting Clips.

Bought the Streamlight 69267 TLR -HL 1000 Flat Dark Earth Brown for my CANiK TTI COMBAT. The Fit and Function is exactly what I was looking for. The insert I used that Streamlight gives you was P320 which BROUGHT it the closest to the trigger guard. This unit comes with the Glock spacer installed and it was a perfect fit for my M&P9 M2.0 5 inch in FDE with that spacer. I wanted the activation tabs to be on either side of the trigger guard without poking out into it and the fit was outstanding. The activation tabs are 1/32 of an inch from being even with the inside of the trigger guard which means that they are easy to access with either hand and unobtrusive to the trigger finger. The end of the light is within 1/16 of an inch from being even with the end of the 5" barrel and exactly even with the end of the slide. There are 5 other spacer inserts if you want yours mounted closer or further away, but the Glock one was perfect for my gun. The "FDE" color on this item is more of a dirty gold than FDE, but the color matching is closer than the M&P slide to it's grip and the color is not as important as the fit and function. This item is easy to activate and unlike the opinions of some people, it is not easy to accidentally actuate. If you're one of the people that juts their support hand thumb out forward along the side of a pistol's slide, then I imagine any weapon mounted light would have trouble with inadvertent activation, but I am not one of those people. Personally, my left thumb rides on top of my right one, providing extra support and staying out of the way. The hot spot and spill on this light are better than my Elzetta Bravo. From 10ft away, the spill can illuminate all of a 15 ft wall in front of me with a 48-60" hot spot in the center. I have programmed out the strobe feature on mine (10 clicks downwards on left side) because the momentary-on function is what I would mainly use in a self-defense scenario and I don't want to accidentally strobe. This is definitely a 5-star item and a great deal for the price. Good light, this is my second one of these. My other one is the older model that has the website on the side. The new one doesn't have that, and i confirmed with streamlight that their newer models no longer have the website on the side. They confirmed by the sn, it's legit.

I bought this and the Surefire X300 B Turbo at the same time. I compared them side by side and the Streamlight has a nicer light and pattern. I prefer the switch on the Streamlight as well, and it has a strobe function. It’s also less than half the cost of the Surefire. I have used many Streamlight products in the past and they never fail to impress, especially for the money. I already own a Streamlight TLR1 HL that I keep on one of my Glocks and have loved that light. Very durable (been used on my 9mm and 45acp Glocks for several hundred rounds combined and still works perfectly), extremely bright especially for how compact it is and just very well made and finished. I got this long gun kit version for a new 10.5" AK47 that I recently got. It is mounted on the right side of the rifle on a magpul cantilever mount to get it out front as much as possible with the pressure switch mounted on a short piece of picatinny rail on the left side. I LOVE the ability to turn it completely off so that you can't accidentally bump the pressure pad and activate it in a very inconvenient time or bump it on while transporting and drain the battery. I also like that the pressure switch is only momentary on so as soon as you release the pressure it goes off. I also REALLY like that they include the standard rear battery cover so if you don't want to use the pressure pad switch or choose to mount it on a pistol you can swap out the rear battery covers. Don't waste your money on overrated and WAY overpriced crap like surefire, go with a streamlight. They're just as nice, just as durable and in a lot of cases brighter for a fraction of the money. ... show more
