Description

The Streamlight TLR-7 X features multi-fuel capability powered by either one (1) CR123A or one (1) Streamlight SL-B9 lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack, (sold separately), both delivering 500 lumens and 5,000 candela. The integrated rail clamp is designed to rapidly attach/detach from the side of the weapon, providing smooth installation and removal without having to put your hands in front of the muzzle. Customizable rear paddle switches, momentary and constant on operation, and a programmable strobe mode offer additional versatility for many tactical applications.

Firstly, this light has exceeded my expectations. It's very heavy duty & with the two sets of paddles that take less than 30 seconds to change makes it easy to use. I put this on a Springfield XD 9 & it fits perfectly. ( For those reviews stating their package was missing the universal #1, it's not. It's already mounted in the light ) I have an Olight that is an awesome light & extremely bright & have no complaints other than this streamlight fits so much better. ( Moved the Olight to an AR-15 & its great ) I will however only purchase Streamlight weapon lights going forward. Streamlight it just a superior product all the way around. Switchable paddles, fits perfectly, has a safety feature where you turn the head of the light about a 1/4 to a detent so it doesn't accidentally get turned on & great for peace of mind knowing my battery is being drained when not in use. Lastly one of the best features is that you can turn the strobe feature on or off with a certain sequence of pressing & holding either side to reprogram. Very impressed, only purchasing streamlight from now on, totally worth the money, you definitely don't feel like you've paid to much. I've had no issues with performance & I've noticed although this light weighs about what you'd expect ( not to heavy but no light either ) it balances the front a little bit better with that added weight it improved the muzzle flip which wasn't bad to begin with, but it helped a little. Highly recommend this light to anyone on the fence about spending a little extra for a quality light. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

Nice and perfect and fits snug on my G45. It’s true to size so it literally looks like it’s meant for it. 500 lumen is really bright even tho 500 is a low number. Easy to install and charge and change batteries especially. Would recommend this because these brands fit majority holsters. If u buy an off brand light, 90% of the time you won’t find a holster that will fit ur light and pew pew. So I do recommend this light or brand. Save ur money for these lights or even better. ... show more

I made this purchase in preparation for my new firearm acquisition that will be coming home shortly. I found a holster that stated it fit the S.A. Hellcat Pro with this light and that is how I came to my decision as to buy this item. I tested it out on my wife's Hellcat pro and it fits perfectly, and also tried it in the holster I bought for my Hellcat pro using my wife's firearm and it fits pretty good. It does not have that satisfying "click", but it does secure to the light vs the frame and you can feel when it reaches that secure point. The light itself is very bright, it has only one feature that I can tell, as I do not believe it has a low setting or strobe effect, but for the purposes of self defense carry and the want for a good weapon mounted light, this light is definitely comparable to other well known brands. It comes with different mounting clips for different rail types (Univ 1, 2, 1913 rail 1 and 2, and I believe a Gl rail) and it also comes with different switches and a tool to modify the switches with so you do not have to go out and buy additional items to make the mod with. I think it is a good, affordable option and should definitely considered, especially since it seems there is more holster support for streamlights in general vs other products in which I own. I am highly considering purchasing the black one for my wife's firearm as I purchased the tan and black for myself to match the FDE coloring on my new pistol. Color is a little different than my firearm, but it still matches really well. Right out of the box, I inserted the CR123 battery that came with it and turned it on with no issues. The Streamlight TLR series is the best out there, fits almost anything from Subcompact to Plus size. Threw it on a Stoeger STR9SC (ik the light is half the price of the gun) and it never comes loose, always works, and runs forever between battery changes. The TLR7X is compatible with rechargeable batteries, and if using proper batteries can have great brightness to light up an entire room or yard. It came with 10 different rail setups so it’s adjustable and changeable between guns and manufacturers, and it comes with two different sets of buttons to make sure it’s comfortable to use for the user, whether they need the smaller or larger buttons. ... show more

As a heavy equipment mechanic and operator some days thing thing has been beat. Laying in the dirt and mud, getting literally ground into it some days when I’m rolling around under things. And then on a few occasions I’ve even removed it from my pistol to help complete a job and it’s been dropped off an excavator boom about 15’ up onto fresh hammered ledge, (twice in one hour). Dropped into a coolant drain pan and then removed and dropped into the mud. Been through dozens of batteries and so far the only complaint would be the finish and lense. They show the abuse. No idea how you could improve that but with all the beating it would be amazing if it still looked new but it doesn’t. Great light that I can carry with confidence. Got a few more on order for some other firearms. ... show more
