Higher quality artist paper

I needed a higher quality and more durable paper as an artist and this paper suits my needs well. A good pencil (eg prismacolor, Faber castell) will fully cover the gray and it makes excellent art without tearing, rolling, bending, stretching etc.

It's a simple and lovely sketchbook...the overall quality is really good considering the source of the pages, though they aren't thick enough to use both sides (can check the images). For me it works amazing, the 3.5 x 5in is a comfortable and easy size to handle.

Good quality and the gray allows highlighting.

Good quality paper. If you're an art student learning from Old Master drawings, the Toned Gray paper allows you to highlight in white chalk/pastels and the 9x12 size is similar to many classical sketchbook references. I do recommend it.

I was on the fence about buying this sketchbook because I didn't know a lot about toned paper, but my fiancé convinced me to try it out. I've only drawn in it a handful of times, but I did do a commission piece with this paper, (pictured), and my client absolutely loved it. The tan color of the paper
took some getting used to, since I'm so used to white paper but I think I like it alright. Not something, I'll use all the time, but I'll have it for when I need it. No problems with it at all.

My daughter draws non-stop. These sketchbooks are perfect for her. They are a good quality and easy to carry. Also, she can draw as much as she wants and I don't have a million pieces of paper around the house. She takes one of these wherever she goes to sketch when out and about.

I have purchased this a couple months ago for a figure drawing course I am taking at my college. It was a great choice, since it gave an easy shortcut then toning paper yourself. It has a nice medium tone.
