  • delivered okay
Size: 11x17 Style: Comic Boards Product Packaging: Fold Over
Undamaged except for a tiny nick top right. No glue on inside? Decent exchange for the money; prefer Fanboy but could not locate that or Bristol. Somewhat expensive, may need more later.

  • Comic strip creators boards but I use them for PLOTTING FICTION
Size: 5x17 Style: Comic Boards Product Packaging: Fold Over
These are intended for comic book writers and illustrators to plan action and illustration of scenes. I knew that when I bought them but I use them with writers to support fiction writing. This forces the writer to consider how to get from A to B and not forget intermediate steps. The blocks are preprinted but there's still a lot of flexibility. It's called an "eraser." The paper quality is fine; they're a little expensive up front but can save you endless hours of rewrite if you focus scene by scene. ... show more

  • My experience And product review
Size: 8.5x11 Style: Comic/Manga Sketch Product Packaging: Fold Over
When I received The Sketch pad. Almost all the paper just fall out. 3 of these pages weren't even attached to the glue at of the page. And only one page stay in the Sketch pad itself. However, all of the paper seem to be there in excellent too mint condition. So I couldn't Justify a return. At the same time, It was an unpleasant experience to have . So, I won't be giving this Review the full four stars I would have. I don't know ? Maybe, the extra five dollars? Would have been worth it for the 2020 version. Not my most favorite canson paper. But, the paper is still very good quality. In what I would Consider a high-end drawing paper. I just know , canson has better drawing paper in it's library. But, I still enjoy drawing on it. It's kinda nice having a great quality paper. That steps up from typical computer paper. That still feels like a sketch paper. ... show more

  • Another Great Fanboy Product
Fanboy has released the definitive product for comic strip artists with this art pad, which comes in a long strip that accommodates the medium perfectly. I'm not a comic artist, but I still enjoyed experimenting with these over a couple of weeks. Here's the gist: 1. The boards have a side panel for filing purposes that is convenient and keeps your work uniform. 2. The paper has one long box for the strip that can be broken down at the artist's discretion. The space given is realistic and gives an immediate sense of dimension. 3. The paper is still and resistant to feathering. Some markers will streak on the paper though; my Faber-Castells did pretty well with them though. Alcohol blenders are not good for them unless you're very conservative with them. 4. The paper doesn't warp easily and is strong enough to hold up to frequent erasing. Pen ink does very well. About the only negative I can think of is that you only get 14 boards per pack, which is a little rich for me. But, if you want to draw comic strips, this is what you want. ... show more
