    • This 60 Lb paper is lighter weight than 60 Lb bond paper
If you look at the rating on the tablet cover, two numbers are given: 60 Lb, and 89 g/m2. If this were 60 Lb bond paper, the two tablets together would weigh 7 Lbs. Instead the two tablets weigh just 3.6 Lbs on my digital scale. That weight puts this paper closer to 24 Lb bond. The basis for the 60 Lb rating is a grade of paper known as "offset text". This is confirmed by the second rating of 89 g/m2. Yep, this is fairly thin paper of a grade that is just a tad thicker than normal 20 Lb copy paper. I'm using it for practice with fountain pens. With normal prose writing, I don't notice bleed-through. I only write on one side so bleed-through is not overly important to me, For ink drawing, though, this paper is too thin. Multiple strokes in the same area to darken a color or mix another color result in puddling and over-saturation. The tablet cover plainly states that the paper is meant for dry media. If you are looking for a tablet for fountain pens and markers, you should probably keep looking. ... show more

Picked this up on a whim on Prime Day and it's been a great sketchbook to me these past few months. Really quality paper. Good texture and impressive stock. I had an accident when I was refilling a pen and spilled a refills worth of ink onto the sketchbook and to my amazement other than a little that spilled over the edge there was no bleed through on the following pages. Will be purchasing more when I fill these up. ... show more

I am planning an animation and wanted a few sketchbooks to start roughing out ideas. I needed large size, affordable price and I found it in these. The paper is just thin enough so I can see to the next page if I use black sharpie to copy a drawing for animation ideas. Not that the pages are too thin they are not they are drawing paper thickness. You can get thicker paper sketchbooks but for what I needed them for these are working great. I highly recommend for animation or just for sketching. Good for students. Great price and love the two in the pack. ... show more
