Let me just say the overall result of the dresser is that it’s cute and it’s pretty sturdy for the price. Now to get to the result, it requires that you set aside 3-4 hours to build it and A LOT of patience because you have to literally build this thing from scratch. Like the makers literally cut the wood off the tree and painted it then slapped all of it in a box with the 100+ screws and hardware you’ll need (I would advise to not have young kids around when building this). The crazy thing is, is that this is literally a kids dresser and most parents love the convenience of having things pretty simple to put together since we have limited time but not this thing. The instructions say not to use an electric drill but I did and had no issues so that probably saved me a couple of hours. Honestly if you want a project that’ll keep you busy a couple of hours, get it because honestly it’s pretty good quality. If your looking for simplicity, look elsewhere! ... show more

Even though this dresser took the 2 of us 6 hours to build. We had fun doing so. However, the final result was disappointing - opening the dresser drawers to get items in the back is a pain. It's really hard to reach anything. Now 2 years in the dresser is falling apart and the rails have fallen off and nails bent - the front of the drawers are falling off. Disappointing to say the least, but I am secretly glad because we can find an alternate dresser that isn't such a pain in the ass to find things and isn't a risk to my children. ... show more

We got this for our nursery and I love the color (matches my storkcraft crib) and style of this dresser but it came with some chips in the paint and some of the assembly pieces didn’t fit right or were too loose. The knobs on the dresser also had many scuffs and scrapes. We made it work and the dresser looks alright. The bottoms of the drawers aren’t wood, but a small piece of wood holds the center of the thin bottoms. Seems durable - haven’t put anything inside yet but clearly nothing too heavy. The instructions were fantastic and easy to follow. The entire unit seems very sturdy and well built. However the drawer slides seem to hang up on some of the screws and the drawers do not slide all the way in smoothly. I've tried moving the slide screws to different holes and sometimes this helps. The drawers only pull out about halfway, but this isn't really a problem. Overall it's a good unit and perhaps if I play with the slide screws a bit more the drawers will smoothly slide in. ... show more

I'm currently 8 months pregnant and I was excited to buy this for my baby. It's a really nice starter dresser took me 4 hours to assemble it, but it was worth it.
