First off, I'm assuming that all the bad reviews are from people who either cannot follow directions, or choose not to, because this thing went together EXACTLY as described. It is quite a bit to put together (it took me about 4 hours by myself, but I'm an older woman with really painful hands). It came VERY well packed. Actually, it's an engineering marvel how they got everything packed into the box like they did & still had it so well protected! The instructions are very detailed and clearly written with words & pictures. The dresser is really sturdy & of good quality. It does take some getting used to that I can only open one drawer at a time, but I understand that it's a safety feature. The only negative comment I have is that I wish there was a matching nightstand to go with it! I am very pleased with this dresser. This is probably the best large item I've ever bought from Amazon. Spent a long time trying to find a decent dresser for my room. N only have a limited space to use. This fits perfectly. Holds a little more than my old tall dressed I've had for ages. The media could not be loaded. First piece I pulled out of the box was cracked. Was that a deal breaker? Not necessarily, I expected it to be cheap. I wasn’t looking for sturdiness, it was for my boys room. I didn’t want to spend more that $200 on a dresser for it to be scratched and dented in a year. Got on a chat with costumer service and they partially refunded me for the cracked piece. Super easy to deal with. I got $33 bucks back. Gave an extra star for that reason alone. For the design, it took me 2.5 hrs by myself to put together. It’s pretty chintzy . Drawers are not smooth, see the video. Does it work? Yes. Will it last? I doubt it. But I expected it to be that way. Also, it does look nice. I’ll give it that. ... show more

I freaking Loveeee this dresser! My toddler girl also loves it. I changed the drawer pulls to gold hearts. The dresser came packaged very well, no dings, dents, chips, missing pieces, etc. each layer is protected with a soft foam so the wood doesn’t rub together. I put this entire dresser together by myself (yes I’m a woman), as my Hubby watched TV beside me! He knows putting things together is my me time and my little project so let me be unless I absolutely need you. LOL… anywho… The dresser is an absolute MUST BUY! I love the color, the weight, the sturdiness, the length, the height (I’m 5’1.5” Hubby 5”11), the functionality of the drawers (you can only open 1 drawer at a time) however, my little Pandemic smarty pants 3 year old daughter discovered a way… I was kinda excited about it too, not going to lie. Hint if you push the open drawer as if you’re closing it but don’t let it close all the way, pull another drawer and it should open. I will say this, although it doesn’t bother me because I can hear if she is playing in the dresser… the drawers are sort of loud when closing mainly but slightly upon opening too. You can mount this to your wall but I didn’t find it necessary because it has a great amount of weight to it and its shape on the bottom. This is no old school dresser where the drawers come all the way out and causes tipping hazard. The structure will keep it upright so no need to anchor unless you just have a little destructive kid on your hands. This is my real unpaid review if it wasn’t 1:30am I would have posted a pic. I can’t say anything bad about this product. I have seen the leading Delta toddler dressers in person but they have nothing on this dresser. If I could give this no stars, I would. This dresser is a literal death trap, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it kills someones kids and gets recalled. First and foremost, not all the pieces were included to assemble this dresser. Next there are partial screw like things that when you turn them, they can become undone making the dresser completely unstable. I assembled it together and had trouble with the screw things staying in and the top part of the dresser was the first to come undone. We thought we'd still be able to work through it if we put it in one spot and didnt move it, but the next thing we know, the drawers literally came apart and had trouble coming in and out the tracts. Its upsetting to spend sooo much money on a dresser that is supposed to be specifically for children, and then to have to disassemble, try and fit back into the box and then lug the box to the ups store bc it costs money for pickup or pickup isn't even available, is absolutely insane. So to say the least I'm stuck with an over $200 deathtrap of a dresser that I have no use for, while I look for something else for my son. I wish I listened to the other reviews that warned of their troubles with the dresser, but unfortunately I'm someone who likes to try it out for myself, and this is what I'm dealt with. Hopefully they update their policies on sending back highly defective heavy items like this, bc being one parent who has back problems, it's just way too hard to take back to ups to get it shipped back.
