This is a great PFD, very comfortable! For reference I am a 5’4 128 pound female. I’ve had difficulty finding a flattering PFD. I was concerned it might be too tight, since I’m at the upper end of the weight range, but found it quite comfortable. It is not too bulky and has plenty of our movement for paddle boarding. My kid (between age 7-10) has no complaints when wearing this. It fits well and is comfortable for on-water excursions. She has gone into the water too (on purpose; playing with a SUP) and it has kept her afloat. I really appreciated the price-point of this PFD, especially given its quality. We have several kids and several life vest styles/brands. I really like how this one goes “razor back” as it allows for my son to move his arms freely. He’s able to do swim strokes and it is comfortable enough that he isn’t asking to take it off while he’s out of the water.

My 7 year old great-nephew wore it for 7 hours straight, no complaints and no attempts to take it off. From all appearances he all but forgot he had it on. Thankfully we didn’t get the opportunity to test its flotation, but I put my faith in the fact that it’s USCG approved.
