    • Perfect for grandkids
Perfect size and so less bulky than regular life jackets. 12 year old grandson will use on a fishing trip and I’ll be much more comfortable that he’s always got it on and protected.

    • Be sure to test with your kids
My kids refuse to wear the standard (?type III) life vests. So I got a pair of these because they are more comfortable, and they are the only manufacturer I could find that made inflatable life vests in kids' sizes. We go SUP'ing in a calm marina and my kids know how to swim, but I'd rather see them wear something. The problem I had was that when I had my kids test them, they could not deploy the device via the manual pull. I did not test the automatic (water submersion) method. I contacted the company (Eyson) and customer service was excellent. I was sent a replacement pair, but I had the same problem: when my kids pulled as hard as they could, it would not inflate. Eyson sent me a video of a child deploying one of their devices, so I may have received a bad bunch. Eyson continued offering to work with me; they were going to send me new co2 canisters next, but I requested a refund and they obliged. My advice is to test this with your kids as soon as you receive it. The problem I encountered may be fixed by now.     • My grandson loves it
My four year old grandson can now be on the boat in comfort even in the heat. No more whining about having to be in a life jacket. Hopefully will not ever need to inflate but will update if it does.

Bought for my small 5 yo. He wears when fishing on a river. He slipped and fell into a shallow river bank and it went off immediately, wasn’t even fully submerged for less than .5 sec

Upon close inspection, this is not a US CG approved lifejacket. So I attempted to return it only to find out that Amazon does not allow the return of the vest because of the gas cylinder. I’m not gonna risk my grandchildren These are design for people over 16 years old. And also says Made in the US and China ... show more
