  • Not hot, good temp for washing your hands
Style: Mini 2-1
This works perfectly for getting warm, face and hand washing temperature water fast but it definitely isn't hot. I couldn't put the reducing water flow filter on the end of my faucet since the one (IKEA) can't change this however.... the water heater seems to bring it automatically down to about 1.5 liters / minute which is exactly what I got. Works for what I need it for although I was hoping it would work better as I wanted to install it in a camper van (for a shower) but that isn't going to work. ... show more

  • Works as intended
Style: Mini 3-1 (3 kW, 120-volt)
I purchased this heater as a way to heat the water going into my whole house humidifier attached to my furnace. I converted to a whole house tankless water heater a couple of years ago and am extremely happy with it. The one problem I had was that the water flow on the humidifier was not enough to turn on the whole house heater. In essence I have been with out a humidifier for a couple of years because cold water was flowing through my humidifier. I hooked the unit up and still had an issue with low flow rates from the humidifier not flowing enough water to trigger the smaller heater. I did some modifications to the humidifier and it works now. When the water first starts to flow it heats the water quite a bit, so much that I can't hold the copper tube the water flows through. However after a few minutes enough water has flowed to actually start getting water from pipes outside my house. At this point the heater is still working great, but the water flowing into the heater is quite cold. The heater is able to heat the water to luke warm which is enough to actually put some humidity in the air in my home. I live in Colorado and have heard that these electric heaters will not work here. I somewhat agree, however you have to be aware of the flow rate as well as what the actual temperature of the water is coming into you house. The smaller heaters can only heat water up so much in the small amount of time the water is actually in them before it flows out. If you are going to get one in Colorado either get the biggest one you can for your specific use or do some math to actually see what temperature the water will be heated to after it has been flowing for a few minutes. ... show more

  • compact and adaptable and works well
Style: Mini 3-1 (3 kW, 120-volt)
I installed this tankless water heater to provide hot water to the sink in my outdoor kitchen 10 years ago. It has always worked well to have hot water for hand washing, rinsing dishes or food, etc. It's installed in the Houston Texas area so the water gets too hot to touch in the summer and plenty warm in the winter. The cold water feed comes from an outside faucet tapped to send water through a pipe under ground to the counter. In the severe freeze of February 2021 the water heater ruptured, as did every tankless water heater as I understand because there was no power during the freeze. If I had disconnected it and brought it indoors and drained it it might have survived. I replaced it with another identical water heater. It is compact and easy to install. I like that you mount a mounting plate on the wall then connect the cold and hot water flexible lines, pressure test it, then snap it into place on the mounting bracket and then connect the electrical connection. It is easy to dismount from the mounting bracket, too. I had it installed in a fairly cramped space under the sink next to a Gould under sink self contained pump. I also installed a garbage disposer to help handle solids going out the drain. ... show more

  • Lasted about a year
Style: Mini 2-1
Nice and compact. Worked as advertised, but lasted just over a year. Wouldn't recommend this brand - look for something more reliable - I am.

  • Very Low Flow
Style: Mini 2-1
Installation was super easy. It took me about 10 minutes. The water comes out hot, but at a very low flow, maybe .3 gal/ minute. I still appreciate the hot water at the tap, not having to wait 3 minutes and wasting a lot of water while I wait for it to heat up. I am happy with it.

  • It’s heats water
Style: Mini 2-1
I use this off grid for running a solar electric hot shower. Build quality is excellent, water flow is low as specified, I am getting 105F for my shower.

  • It works as expected
Style: Mini 2-1
Pros: Heating power is good to use it in a sink. The pressure switch is very responsive and reliable. Cons: It does not have temperature control. To use it in the hot line water as I needed, I added a temperature control at the exit pipe, and adjust it to 40 Celsius. The water flow is heavily restricted internally. It works for me. A little pricey for its features. ... show more

  • unit is difficult to use in certain systems.
Style: Mini 2-1
had to return. complaint 1: unit has internal flow restriction not controlled by user. this causes back- pressure and flow problems. complaint 2: no mounting tabs of any kind. what?? complaint 3: non- standard water connections. not npt, not metric, not anything easy to adapt to, especially for hosed systems, ie rv pump driven system. probably a good heater for home type water system, ie: metal piped, pressure driven applications, will never know, never got to use. got competitor product, seems to be engineered right, free flowing, mounting tabs, npt fittings, ect. ... show more
