I have a desk and there used to be a bunch of loose pencils and pens in one of the drawers. I was getting tired of having them rattle around every time I opened the drawer. Having to rummage through to find the one I wanted was taking a lot more time than I wanted to spend. So I bought this. It shipped with Prime and arrived in two days. I immediately put all of my pens and pencils into the box. Thankfully everything fit, since I only bought one and didn't have a backup plan. There was enough room left over for a small pair of scissors. The pencil box is a weird blue color and is sort of see-through. That isn't really all that useful of a feature since I already know that it has my pens and pencils in it, but if you buy a bunch of these and put different things into each one maybe that would be helpful for you. Dimensions are sufficient for what the use it's advertised for. There might be better pencil boxes, or pencil boxes with more or fancier features, but this one cost me less than $5, holes everything that I need, and fits inside my desk drawer. The product itself is fine. The pictures on the listing show only blue, which led me to believe I would receive a blue box as required by my kids’ school supply list. I received clear and black. Only after I received the product did I notice that the listing said “multicolor” in the description. If this was the case then more colors ought to be displayed in the listing. It is not worth returning, I’m just frustrated that now we have to go to a store and pray the blue ones aren’t sold out because everyone’s school list requires it. Got this to hold cut coupons because my pile was turning into a hot mess. Works great. Small enough to fit on a shelf without being highly visible. The plastic feels strong, too. Its been dropped a few times now and still latches fine and no physical chips.

This is a great pencil box. I purchased this for my 3rd grader as he is required to keep all of his pencils, crayons, and markers in this box. My only gripe was that it was a tad small for all of the items he had to keep in it. Unfortunately for that reason I had to find a larger sized pencil box for him. But it wasn't a big deal as we can always use these for storage at home! Regardless, this is a very nicely designed pencil box. The lid stays closed securely which is great! I order two Sterilite Pencil Boxes from Amazon. When I received the order, one of the boxes was busted. I have tried to get a replacement, Amazon re-directed me to the Sterlite site for the reporting the damage. I am satisfied with the quality of the boxes.
