Features

  • K67 Style Capsule: The K67 capsule in the Stellar X3 is carefully tuned by hand. It provides a better off-axis coloration and a smoother mid range response than most K67 style capsules.
  • Unique Capsule Design: The capsule is made with 3 micron mylar as opposed to the traditional 6 microns for added sensitivity which improves the S/N ratio. Our gold sputtering process is able to consistently and evenly distribute the gold on the mylar.
  • High Pass Filter: Turning on the high pass reduces the proximity effect when speaking up close to the microphone. It also reduces background noise such as rumbling.
  • -10dB Pad: This switch increases the microphones headroom. Engage this switch if you need to record loud sources without the fear of clipping.
  • New Shockmount Design: The Stellar X3 features a brand new shockmount that is more reliable and because of its springless design, it will not resonate in your recordings. This new shockmount is also able to reduce vibrations more effectively.

  • Great value microphone, its almost equal with my higher end $3000 mics, for a 10th of the price.
The media could not be loaded. A Stellar Microphone at an Unbeatable Price! I recently purchased the TZ Stellar X3 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone, and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. This microphone is an absolute gem and offers exceptional value for its price. First off, the sound quality is comparable to high end mics. The X3 captures every nuance of my voice with incredible clarity and precision. Whether I'm recording vocals, podcasts, or even acoustic instruments, this microphone delivers pristine audio that rivals some of the pricier options on the market. I've used similar microphones in the $3000 range, and I must admit that the X3 comes surprisingly close in terms of overall performance. The build quality of the X3 is equally impressive. It feels solid and well-constructed, exuding a professional vibe. The large diaphragm design ensures accurate sound reproduction and helps eliminate unwanted background noise, allowing my recordings to shine without any distractions. Plus, the included shock mount and pop filter are excellent additions, providing extra convenience and value. One of the standout features of the X3 is its versatility. It effortlessly adapts to various recording situations and excels in both studio and home setups. Whether you're a professional musician or an aspiring podcaster, this microphone is a worthy companion for capturing high-quality audio. Setting up the X3 was a breeze. It's compatible with a wide range of audio interfaces, and I experienced no compatibility issues whatsoever. The microphone also comes with a handy user manual that provides clear instructions, making it easy to get started right out of the box. If I had to give one average thing to say about it, is maybe the case clips could of been a little more beefy, but not a big deal at all. The fact that you get a hard case for it is amazing at this price. Overall, I highly recommend the TZ Stellar X3 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone. It's an incredible value for the price, offering exceptional sound quality and versatility. If you're in the market for a microphone that can rival much more expensive options, the X3 is definitely worth considering. I'm giving it a well-deserved 5-star rating and urging anyone looking for a reliable and affordable microphone to give it a try. You won't be disappointed! ... show more

  • Quality worth the money
The media could not be loaded. I recently had the pleasure of using the TZ Stellar X3 Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone, and it has completely blown me away. The most remarkable aspect of the Stellar X3 is its sound quality. This microphone captures audio with a level of clarity and precision that is simply astonishing. I'm mainly using the X3 for vlogs, and it delivers pristine and lifelike audio. It reproduces the full spectrum of frequencies with remarkable accuracy, from deep lows to shimmering highs, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of recording applications. Besides, the Stellar X3 is built like a tank. Its solid construction exudes durability and professionalism. The microphone feels substantial in your hands, and the included shock mount and carrying case add to its overall robustness. This microphone is a true workhorse, designed to withstand the rigors of studio use and on-the-road recording. The only problem is the price -- this is not cheap. However, I think it worth the money if you have the right use case. ... show more

  • A mic that is well worth the price!
The media could not be loaded. The Stellar X3 is probably the best microphone that I’ve owned - however it is also the most expensive. I have read many reviews and message boards about this mic and they all say that the Stellar X3 is as good as microphones that cost several times more. I can’t verify that exactly since I don’t use those mics, but I can say this mic is very good and well worth the price compared to lesser mics that I've used. This is a mic with an XLR connection, and I have it plugged into a USB audio interface that connects to my PC. I have it on an articulating arm on my desk, so the shock mount is a nice inclusion with this product. I have been using it for voice calls, livestreaming, and making videos, and people have given me some compliments on the quality of my voice. But overall, while I could tell it was nice, I didn't necessarily feel that it was 3 times better-sounding than my mics that cost one-third of the price. But then I recorded some acoustic guitar with it. This microphone really captured all of the details very crisply. And when I recorded vocals, it was the clearest that my voice had ever sounded. I was pretty blown away by the quality, and really how crisp this microphone is. It’s one thing to capture good audio, but even more to hear every single detail. I think it excels at acoustic instruments. I did mic my guitar amp and played electric guitar with it, but I don’t think this is the ideal use case - even though it still sounded good. With some multitracking and effects, the song I recorded with this microphone was one of the best-sounding songs I think I’ve ever recorded. Which I think says a lot about the mic. It records what seems like a pretty true-to-life sound, maybe a little “warmer” than neutral. Then you can apply whatever effects you want to get the sound you like. Very versatile raw audio. I think that if you’re serious about audio quality and don’t want to spend a fortune, this microphone will be an excellent balance for the best value. Sure, you can buy a lower-cost mic, but if you have a little extra to spend on audio then this is a good investment that doesn’t break the bank. Keep in mind that because of the XLR connection, you will need an audio interface between this and your computer. In terms of miscellaneous notes, this microphone came with a very fancy case that made a good first impression on me and it’s nice that I can take it out of my house easily if needed. It included a nice shock mount with a standard mic stand connector, and a windscreen. These are very useful accessories to have. ... show more
