I purchased this as a gift. Otherwise I would have returned it. The sticks were made cheaply. The drum was pretty, but it is too hard for a three year old to hit just where they needed to in order to get a good sound.

Overall its pretty cool, much bigger in person which is a positive and feels really sturdy. The only real downside is that a few of the notes are completely out of tune and just sound like hitting metal instead of a tone.
