My old one actually had a spray button after you let it heat up. I do sort of miss that, but that button got hot as heck. This one just heats up and starts releasing after a short time. It's not noisy, and the steam is much less obvious than my old one. It doesn't shoot out very far, so you really have to hold it up against whatever. I sort of like that though. The steam seems to last a lot longer, and the little water container is quite a bit larger than my older one. This handheld clothes steamer works, but requires patience and water refills. It took many, passes over my clothes, to get the wrinkles out. However, Its very good for 'touch-ups'. Its a bit larger than I thought, and will take up more space than desired in a suitcase, if using for travel. Good for home use. ... show more

    • Really basic, yet powerful, mini steamer
It's simple, and it works. No trigger - turn it on, wait 30-40 seconds, steam until you turn it off. A little tricky to fill. Best is a funnel and distilled water. But that's not happening while traveling. Just use bottled water. It's much easier than trying to fill from a faucet, and you don't want to use tap water anyway. Actually, you don't really want to use non-distilled water, but bottled water is better than tap water. You'll just have to descale with vinegar once in a while. (And by bottled water I definitely don't mean mineral water. That's the opposite of what you want.) ... show more

✍️ I travel often for work. I'm in need of a steamer for some of my clothing. I like the size of this steamer. I think it eats of lots of water real fast though. It works well for travlers and is easy to use. Pros: You can use it horizontally!!! My old steamer you could only use vertically or water would spill everywhere. I was able to use this to get the wrinkles out of clothes while laying them on the bed. No water drips, and doesn't leave clothes damp! Works very fast and efficiently. Cons: The water hole for refilling is very small and difficult to refill without getting water all over it. There isn't a "trigger"; when it's on, it's on. You can't control the intensity of the steam, and once it's pre-heated it just starts steaming and keeps releasing steam as you switch out garments. This also makes it use up water very quickly. I steamed one pair of shorts and tshirt and it used up half the water reservoir. Overall, I've never found a perfect steamer, but this is so much better than my old "name brand" steamer, and the price is great for what it is. ... show more

This is my first steamer. I traveled with it, and it survived multiple baggage checks. I compressed all of my clothing, and this was able to steam them quickly. It is user-friendly. Quiet. Fast.
