What can I say, this is a really great product. My neighbor had one like this and I got this one. The one I got is solar so no having to run extension cords, can move it wherever we need. The chickens do really well in it and once they learn not to hit it, they stay a little back and no problems. Even when they did touch the fence it was enough to teach them not to do it again but I did not have a crispy bucket of chicken cause they got cooked by it. This was so easy to set up! I moved it by myself today. My goats, chickens and ducks are all staying inside. It was easy to charge inside and we’ve had enough sun, even with random rainy days here in Kansas, to keep fence charged. I am going to buy a second kit for another part of my farm. Ps. My dog chewed hole in it the first day I put it up before batteries charged, husband repaired. He said it took over an hour to reconned all damages wires, they are super tiny!! ... show more

Junk. Absolutely junk. I lost half of my flock last night because something just walked in unaffected by this very weak Energizer. Spend the money on premier one fencing.

    • Charger does not have much of a jolt as I was shocked by it by accident.
The prongs on each pole are easy to bend. I would have liked charger to be stronger. Also the tester that came with it did not work.

    • Keeps the Predators Out
We did have to add bird netting to cover overhead approaches of hawks, but it keeps out the foxes and coyotes.

    • Easy to install and tall enough
This is a good fence. Tall enough to keep the lighter weight birds in. A little heavy for me at first few stakes, but was still easy to install. I think that’s good, because it is sturdy. The double posts are easy to step in.

This system is easy to assemble and setup and works very well! I read some reviews that made me second guess this fence but i purchased anyway just to find out for myself and im glad i did!
